Awesome meal, went on a Saturday night 11 heads in total and the meals were great the steak was cooked to perfection, great staff.

Not only was the steak well cooked by someone with skill (outstanding sear and perfect medium rare), but the quality of the source product was great as well (hard to find in an industry obsessed with competitive pressure). Was a little concerned initially with the...price but the end result was worth it. Kids meal arrived very quickly that placated a hungry ankle biter. Service was great by kitchen staff but the bar staff were a little distant, preferring to chat with the regulars instead.More

We stopped at Oakey for lunch and went to the Bernborough Tavern for a meal. We were treated to a great meal with a salad bar. We both ordered the salt and pepper calamari and really enjoyed it. The service was good and I would...definitely go there again for a meal.More

Schnitzel for me whiting for him, both delicious. Lovely staff in bar and restaurant. Very cheap considering the help yourself salad bar with everything home prepared and fresh. Shame couldn't fit dessert.

A variety of choices on the menu. It was delicious food and staff were so friendly and helpful. Reasonable price for food and drinks too. Definitely worth it. My friends all said they enjoyed their meals too.

Had a few dinners here and the first one was no doubt the best by far - great atmosphere and good live music - owners are lovely and service is excellent. After a few average lunches and dinners not as good as first have not...been back - but will try it again soonMore

Never had a bad meal and the beer is always cold. The bottle shop is always stocked and at a good price for the location.

Stopped in for dinner and the place was super busy. However, we still managed to get a seat out front and the meals were excellent! Great sized meals at appropriate prices. Only the bar chick let this place down. She was a bit sour and...looked down on me as an out of towner, preferring to chat to the locals and tidy the bar top before deciding to begrudgingly serve me. But would definitely recommend this tavern as a great place to eat.More

Went in to have the steak but the barra special won me over. Good salad bar on offer and bar has most drinks. Food was cooked well with good flavours. Will go back for the steak.

We went here for dinner on Sunday night and the staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were great and the salad bar was fresh and yummy. All in all it was good pub grub.

My meal was under $18 and included the salad bar. The salad bar had heaps of variety and was fresh, even though we arrived as they were closing the kitchen they accommodated us and ensured we had some salad before they started clearing it away....They had a good range of food and prices for all budgets.More
