Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you’re heading north from Cairns or Port Douglas to the Daintree river and beyond, be sure to stop in Mossman for coffees/lunch/afternoon tea. Beechwood staff are so friendly, helpful and efficient. There’s comfortable seating in three areas and lots of great options on the...menu. I had the Avo and halloumi on sourdough with lime and balsamic vinegar and Rich had the Eggs Benny .. both delicious. We’ve been back daily during our holiday.. love this cafe!More

Wow. What luck we chanced on this Milkbar. Husband had Poke bowl and chocolate milkshake and I had excellent salad sandwich. Nothing was too much trouble even offered me complimentary iced water. Very reasonable pricing ( a first for 4 days in Cairns area). Nice...covered area at back with plants and fan. Highly recommend.More

The tour we were on to Cape Tribulation turned back due to the weather and we descended on Beechwood’s for lunch. They glad about 20 minutes to prepare sandwiches and wraps for 17 people. The food was great and the staff were lovely- very welcoming.

My mum has been recommending me this cafe ever since she has moved to the area. My father and her often dine here for lunch. I only had a Iced Mocha (decaf with Oat milk) and I must say it is one of the best...Iced Mocca's I have ever had, it had no ice which was great so it was a totally drinkable mocca complete with cream and Ice cream. The atmosphere in the cafe was very friendly and I loved the items they had for sale. I ended up buying 3 pairs of earrings to take back home. I definitely be back for another Mocca next time I am up in FNQMore

We popped in for an early morning coffee. Coffee was one of the best I have had in the region. Sevice so warm and friendly and the carrot cake, whilst also being a huge serve, was divine and obviously house made with love. A must....Thank you Hardwoods.More

After trekking the Mossman Gorge we had lunch at Beechwood’s. What a tranquil spot to settle back. Out the back there’s a lovely Al fresco area.
