Always loved this place - but prices have become quite ridiculous and portion sizes smaller. To pay $30 for two scones and two pots of tea is just ridiculous. $9.95 for a slice of cake??

Plenty of unique drinks, I really enjoyed the Fireside Latte. The only food I tried was the soup special which was nice enough.
We visited this Tea House twice on holidays. The smashed avocado was amazing. For a change, it was a WHOLE avocado, rather than a thin spread. It was accompanied by a tangy/spicy spread on the toast. It was great value and tasty. It completed our...coffee beautifully. Well done!!More
Just a charming little place with quirky little things to buy, including leaf teas and ground coffee. To sit down for a snack - large selection fo teas and coffee - but most of all the most yummy cakes - hard to resist. Very generous...in size. Good service and a lovely spot on Cotton Tree Parade.More
We had lunch here today and it was lovely. Toasted Chicken sandwiches, cake, tea and iced lattes. Good service and friendly team members.
Poor service , grumpy staff not helpful at all. I use to come here in years past and the cafe had a nice vibe. But that has changed. Seats are limited. When we did get a table and all seemed ok until other customers came...in . we were told to move for a group of four. The wait time to get a couple of drinks is more thirty minutes. I will not be coming there againMore
This is an atmospheric tea house( which does serve good coffee) but specialises in teas. This tea house serves a wonderful 'London Fog" which is Early grey tea, in this case with Lavender served on foaming hot milk. The last time I had a London...Fog was in Invermere in Canada so it was nice to link memories. I have been with both a group of friends and just one person . I suggest booking if you want to go for morning tea as it can get very busy. They also sell loose tea and tea making accessoriesMore
This was a real find. We were looking for lunch and took a chance. The sandwiches were not only good, they had that something extra to set them apart. The tea was excellent as was the service. While it is a teahouse, I noted that...ristretto was on the menu so next time I’ll try the coffee. Definitely worth a return visit.More
Lovely little shop; always a pleasure to sit for coffee or tea. An excellent range of cakes; quite pricey but well within the local market costs at this time and portions ver generous. Good service and pleasant ambience. Nice to have a browse at the...tea items for sale.More
Lovely place. Always super sweet service. The tea is amazing especially on a hot day and the cakes are always very filling. Overall great experience.
Met a friend for coffee and asked about their soy milk because I have coeliac disease and some contain barley. Discovered they use a cheap brand with quite nasty (albeit gluten free) ingredients. Most quality establishments use Bonsoy and I would have thought Silva Spoon...could afford to do likewise.More
We had breakfast here and found the first time was great. 2nd time food and service poor. My food came out with half the ingredients missing. When asked why I didn’t receive what is on the menu? I was told “yeah we ran out”. So...if I ordered a prawn cocktail and it came out without prawns is that ok? So paid for food I didn’t receive. Won’t be returning and will share my experience with family and friends.More
I spend every winter in Queensland and the most regular pleasure of my stay is the visits to Silva Spoon. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The selection and presentation of teas is quite unique.. if you love a real tea in a...real teapot then you must come here. Not only can you enjoy many different beautiful flavours but the cakes and meals are really yummy and very generous in size. The displays in the store will help you choose gifts to take home so you won’t leave empty handed.More
The best smashed avo breakfast on the Sunshine Coast accompanied by great coffee and tea. Service with enthusiasm and a smile. What more could you need on a sunny Sunday morning? A special shout out to the delightful young waitress who took care of us;...a real bright spark and an asset to the cafe.More
What a disappointment looked great online. But once I received this for my mum... $40 latter. Thanks for the box.
