I was shopping in the Plaza and needed a light bite. I chose Shingle Inn as it wasn't too busy at the time of my visit. From the moment I stepped up to the counter, staff were friendly and polite. I was so impressed with the manners of one young girl, I told her so. I ordered a BLT to... More

The coffee and service were passable - nothing to rave about, but taking a 2 y.o.on a shopping expedition, this place was a haven in a mad retail world. The seating is comfortable, and the surroundings benign and comforting.

We decided to call into the shopping centre to fill in time for another visit but couldn't resist the two large lounges as we went by and decided to treat ourselves to afternoon tea. The coffee and muffin were great too.

We were so dissappointed after dinning at this place for breakfast! The coffee was okay but the meal itself not! Bacon and eggs on toast with (tinned mushrooms yuk!) and dry tasting baked beans wern't the best and with a pretty high price we won;t be back!

Coffee and cake for afternoon tea today at the Sunshine Plaza was a complete disappointment. Butterfly cake was stale and the melting moment was more like a squashy biscuit. Melting moments should be crumbly and have cream icing inside. Explanation from staff re the food - oh, it is probably because it was under lights in the case. Not good... More

Called in for breakfast. Nice atmosphere. Ordered Healthy brekky, poached eggs, mushrooms, spinach, blistered tomatoes, avocado, gluten free toast. Toast thin slices, really good as the toast didn't take up the whole plate. Eggs cooked nicely, still runny in the middle, tomatoes - blistered, think they just rested on a hot plate for a little while. A nice breakfast. For... More

Been there three times and won't be going back. The coffee was good but each time the cup cake was very stale. It's a shame because it's a nice setting.

have visited on a couple of occassions ordering cold/hot drinks and patty cakes for the kids. Found the service friendly, warm atmosphere and a good spot at the plaza. Even when dining I always see people here and seems a popular choice at the plaza. I have had the acai berry smoothie which was ok but would've liked a little... More

The menu is quite extensive...you'll find something you like..We had Eggs Benny with ham & a hash brown(there are other options)...perfectly fine...but the eggs were very small as was the hash brown...Latte was beaut..Because of public holiday,15% loading...still reasonable value

Went for a quick breaky this morning. Sat outside because the aircon hadnt been turned on so inside was very unpleasent. I found the meals to be over priced and of low quality. My bacon looked and tasted as if it had been steamed and my open melt was covered in cheese and too greasy. At $16 for a slice... More
