Fast efficient drink service. Specifics for my gin were easily accommodated by the bar staff. Great atmosphere and location and the style of food perfectly reflects this. Only negative was the waitresses taking our orders at the table were sullen and bordering on rude during...our interactions.More
Horrible cocktails. Premixed in a bottle with too much syrup and sugar and hardly any alcohol. Not exactly cheap so we were expecting better quality drinks. Some food was ok. But the scallops were frozen and the size of a ten cent coin shrivelled up...and super sad. For $18 was very disappointing. Staff are all very young and doing there best but not organised or very professional. Beautiful spot but the horrible drinks and average food let this place down. This bar has a great location with sweeping views of Maroochydore CBD out to the coast. There is a high ceiling to protect you from rain and the sides are all open, but could be closed in bad weather. There are large fans on the...ceiling, but they didn’t provide much air flow. It was a hot night and I was sweating profusely. I attended a birthday party which required a sizeable payment to secure part of the premises. I read on the website that they do tapas type food. I didn’t see any food being served all night, either at our function or the function next to us. The physical premises are really nice and this place could be a huge success but I don’t see that happening for one major reason: the staff are disorganised and ineffective. I ordered 4 drinks over the course of 3 hours. It was a hot night and I would have ordered more except that all the staff were gathered near the bar in a little group. On each occasion I had to go to the bar and interrupt their conversation to order a drink. With two of my drinks I got a pleasant waitress. With the other two, I got non-verbal attitude that I was an inconvenience because I wanted to order a drink. But, the difficulty in ordering a drink was surpassed by the inordinate time it took to get our drinks. I timed them: from order to getting our drinks (a beer or bourbon and coke) took 15 minutes, 4 minutes, 24 minutes and 32 minutes. It’s a good thing this is a new venue. Once the newness has worn off, I don’t see people being happy to wait such a long time to get a simple drink. The owners are missing a golden opportunity to sell more drinks. Alcohol sales should be the main income at such a venue. The drink waitress didn’t bring our drinks at one stage ( the 32-minute episode). We went to the bar and asked where our drinks were and she said that she couldn’t remember who the drinks were for and therefore did not have them made yet (even though we paid when we ordered). When she finally delivered the drinks and asked if anyone else wanted a drink, she got more drink orders from thirsty patrons. This place is a bar afterall. The basic service should be selling drinks. I thought the drinks service was extremely poor. 3 out of 10 for this place.More
A great space wasted. The food was terrible, literally the worst I have had on the coast... I ordered the "chorizo", ate one slice and realised immediately that it was not chorizo. I offered bits to friends without sharing my thoughts and they both grimaced...and said it was horrible and that it was not chorizo. I gave it back to our server and said that the "chorizo" is not chorizo and none of us could eat it, it was a dark and very spicy dry sausage. I asked her if she could find out what it actually was. She never returned to tell me nor were we offered any credit etc but were happy for us to pay for more food to replace it. Drinks were good but slow. Our server was lovely but the girl with the high pony tail (I am assuming she is the manager) wouldn't even look at me as I requested a refund for an almost $50 bottle of wine that we waited over 25 minutes for (and didn't recieve). Zero atmosphere. Horrible food. There are so many better places on the coast, if you value your time and money, avoid! So crap!More
Absolutely brilliant. Staff were great and food was amazing. The serves are more tapas style which was perfect. It was all delicious. View was nice but our view had Cafe blinds due to wind which obscured it a bit.
Manager all.over it, service attentive and professional. Cocktails on the $. Would suggest making the area more comfortable, maybe some lounge options. And doing something more creative with the space.
Not the most welcoming greeting by staff and of newcomers to directions of toilet facilities here. The pizzas served were lukewarm to cold, flavours and toppings were poor to meet their price, so Domino’s Pizza rated as gourmet in comparison here today, and the beverage...ordered was served to us as the alternative instead of the menu ordered. Surprisingly the clearing of our table was efficient and their goodbye service was better than their welcome. Air conditioning stench changed for the worst and so all-in-all, us ‘diners’ agreed to leave here for a better choice menu and atmosphere. Such a pity that the magnificent views of our iconic Mount Coolum and Old Woman Island ended this terribly way this evening ! We really enjoyed our night out at the rooftop bat. The staff were excellent to a person, the food and cocktail menu is excellent providing a good variety without trying to do everything which never seems to work. The rooftop location is lovely for sundowners...and the evening ambience was also really good.More
A great place to relax. Great Views over Maroochydore. Very friendly staff and great choice of drinks and cocktails. Diverse menu. Manager Gerri is very welcoming and friendly.
All this bar seems to care about is people who think they deserve to be insta influencers. Girls who buy 1 cocktail a night and take a thousand selfies. They will go broke targeting this market. Once this bar attracted a good mix of people,...not anymore. The service is still ok. the food, I'd eat elsewhere. It had so much potential.More
Great location & views but that’s as far as it goes. We had a booking for 2, on arrival we were seated on the couch whilst waiting for our table to come available, which did not happen. This couch would have to be the most...uncomfortable piece of furniture I’ve ever sat on. Cheap crap outdoor setting, it was like sitting on metal bars. We ordered a seafood platter & pork belly. The pork bellyi if you could call it that was absolutely disgusting. The platter had 4 tasteless prawns, 4 natural oysters, 2 scallops & 4 slices of cucumber topped with a smidgen of salmon. $55.00 dollars! Absolute joke. So so disappointing & such a shame as it’s a great venue. Management needs a massive shake up to turn this around or else I don’t see it lasting!More
Two couples went last night for dinner, had the $50 set menu of Antipasto platter, Calamari, Diablo chicken, corn fritters, seared scallops, marinated sirloin and panna cotta. The food was sensational and brought out to suit our pace, we were not rushed at all. Enjoyed...the view of the lights of the area, tables were spaced and the staff were continually cleaning. The staff were very friendly and efficient and we will definitely be going back in summer when the roof can be open.More
The vibe here is bang on, great music, fantastic service, a great view and killer cocktails. Perfect spot for a girls night out.
The Staff were great on both of my visits and no complaints about the the view . But there was no value for money in regards to the menu. We ordered oysters but although the four of them tasted good the pureed cauliflower was a...tiny dot on top of the oyster and my friend got a tiny bit of bacon but none for me. I paid $71 for 4 oysters each, a glass of wine and a lemon, lime and bitters! I'm still in shock. All my friends have been looking forward to meeting me there but I'm too embarrassed to take them as we would all go away hungry.More
Read lots of mixed reviews but decided to make my own decision. A group of four of us had pre dinner drinks on Saturday night. While we didn’t have a booking we got a seat on arrival. Excellent service by the staff on arrival. We...ordered a bottle of wine which arrived quickly. We enjoyed the view of the sunset, and lights as it got darker. If I was there during the day I would prefer a seat with a view of the water. We found the music a little loud for comfortable chatting, but we were still able to hear each other. It was a nice change for a drink in the maroochydore area.More
