Stopped for lunch for two in early September. We had a quite lunch out in the back eating area. Seemed quite busy on a Monday. The younger wait staff we very very pleasant, the food was good and the coffee was excellent, we had cappucinos.
Probably wouldnt go back here again as when lining up ordering the food we were served by an older woman with dark hair. We tried to strike up a pleasant conversation with her and were met with an unhappy snarly attitude from the woman. We were most surprised as all others working here were very amiable. It was as if it was an effort to open her mouth. She grunted at us. Wont be going back here again because of this treatment. Your staff member needs reminding, it does not take much to be pleasant. If you dont want to serve there, get another job. Most fresh food in deli windows looked delicious.

A friend highly recommended Dino’s so we came and it’s wonderful. It’s a true Italian deli in the middle of Mareeba with an impressive selection of meats, cheeses and deli items (the olives are amazing!) It was absolutely packed out on the Saturday we visited which proves the local support & excellent quality on offer. We had lunch in the cafe and my Angies Special wood fired pizza was to die for! I can’t wait to come back.

Came here for lunch, what a lovely little surprise, it was like walking into a real deli in Italy or Melbourne, all your pantry ingredients, cheeses and meats. Such a variety. I had the fresh pasta salad and sat in the lovely covered rear courtyard, would recommended this place

Not having been to Mareeba for some time, I was keen to take my partner to this Deli for a special day, as I had heard it was wonderful. How wrong!!
Terrible food, shocking service, totally overpriced.
We paid over $40 for two coffees, the tiniest Caesar salad I have ever seen, and a piece of cake. My coffee was lukewarm milk. When I returned it to ask for a strong and hot coffee, the girl brought me back my cup of lukewarm milk, with a shot of coffee in a small jug to add to it!!! Appalling. I could not drink it.
We try to support local businesses, but this is one we will never, ever go to again.

We stopped here for breakfast and what a great surprise. The food was amazing, fresh, tasty and generous portions served with freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff was friendly and the tables clean and comfortable. What a lovely experience!

Absolutely appalled to see staff get ham, cold meat, anything out of the deli cabinet with their bare hands, after touching their face , clothing and other surfaces !,,, And then proceed to make sandwiches!
No hand washing, no sanitizer, No food tongs used at all…….disgusting !
It is against ALL food safety standards to not use gloves, wash hands or use food tongs, especially in the current times.
The owner. States “ we don’t have to “ ?!? WTF? Yes you do. Terrible food safety practice

We always try to squeeze in a visit to this deli when staying on the tableland. Tasty fresh Italian food - a good variety of staples and specials with lots of tempting goodies to take with you. Head for the tables out the back for an opportunity to mix with the locals.

An excellent place for breakfast in Mareeba. Fresh food. Happy efficient service. The courtyard is clearly well appreciated by locals too.
The deli has a wide range of international food, with Italian a specialty.

Lunch stop. My wife of Italian background knew about the Italian influence in the region so we picked Dino's and boy what a surprise!
Some of the most authentic home cooking, imported snacks and all filling.
A superb and filling lunch.
This place would leave many similar cafes in Sydney for dead in every way. If only I had a reason to go there again! As it was I'd just done the Cairns Ironman the day before so gave myself a licence to eat.
That my wife approved was good enough for me. Might have to go and race Cairns again just to go to Mareeba again.
I had the crumbed chicken with the lot. My wife and my cousins the fritters and a salmon sanga.
10/10 in every respect.

We stopped here for a coffee and bunch on our way to Atherton on a recent road trip.
The coffee was fantastic and the Italian food options were great. This is an awesome place to drop into for not only food and coffee but also great deli lines and I saw there were lots of pre-prepared food options to take home. What a place! Loved it!

Anyone who lives in or new Mareeba or who passes through this township on holiday without calling into this Deli for a meal - is missing out on a culinary experience second to none! The food is freshly made, wholesome, delightful and reasonably priced. I go there quite often for a meal when in town - and have yet to be anything but completely delighted with service and food. The smoothies are the best in the far north - and try their Bruschetta for a real taste sensation. Their selection of cheeses, sausage, and Deli items such a homemade dried tomato etc makes it impossible to get out of the door without taking more tastes of little Italy with you. Highly recommended.

I recently went to The Mareeba Deli for lunch and I was hungry so I ordered a crumbed chicken burger , it arrived , looked OK but that was the only good part, it looked good , the crumbed chicken was dry and all crumb batter and fat and skin with very little dry brown meat , A very ordinary expensive burger at $19 .
The worst burger I've ever had.

We went to the deli this morning on the way to port Douglas, we asked for two panini takeaway, apparently I paid only for one but that not big problem, because I bought more staff then to enjoy my second panini , we been waiting only for 1 panino 45 minutes, no food safety practice, no hand washing, very dirty place ! Very disappointed, staff is not at all professional.
