Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have been going to the Bruhaha for the last 3 odd years since when we go to Maleny on holiday. When we first went there, the menu was extensive and really tasty with new and creative dishes. This time, lunchtime were only pizzas and...3 x on board menu items (1 x vegan meal / chicken schnitz/burger), so the menu selection was very limited. All the craft beers were the same and available on the day. Staff were friendly and really helpful. It's still a very busy place, demographic was a range of all ages from young to families and family groups. I guess it depends why you go there, like if you go there to drink or for the food.More

Went for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night. There were no more than six people in the place and we were the only people dining. We had decided to give the place another try after giving it a wide berthfor the past two and...a half years. Big mistake to return because nothing has changed since then . Food and beverage is still .way overpriced: $16 for a sausage with a few slices of pickled cucumber and the staff anxious to tell you that the kitchen closes at 8 p.m. Once upon a time this place was supported by locals, but not any more. All very sad that this business is dying from what can only be described as self inflicted wounds. IMore

Just had dinner here… we were advised that it was a new menu.. We were given menu’s waited some time for staff to come back to place order. When we tried to order they then informed us that several items on the menu were not...available due to not having ingredients - no mussels,… no tomato or capsicum ….. we changed orders … Steak was cooked as requested however it came out with just steak and chips - no sauce or veg etc just a lip of steak and chips Meals were very underwhelming and very average. Ambience is very noisy and not inviting Below average experienceMore

Our first visit to the brewery and it was quite an experience as we hadn't been to a brewery before. The place is really nice inside. We were early for lunch so we had coffee first. The staff was very friendly and kept checking on...us. The meals we had were all very good, a bit overpriced we thought. We were there on a Sunday and it got quite busy.More

Visited Brouhaha this week and enjoyed a full tasting paddle. Generously sized portions. Enjoyed every single beer that I tried. Relaxed atmosphere. Also purchased one of their growlers. One of the best beer experiences I had on the Sunshine Coast. Staff very attentive and helpful.

….is what I always want to walk an extra mile for. This was worth it. Great place with live music on a Friday. Excellent service and attendance. One thing I have never experienced: Being a male, going to the restroom, and taking a P.. you...look through a window watching the Bar area at the same time.. one way window. Eat the prawns, and try the Lager.More

Happy we booked as lunch crowd filled the place. Menu not large but found something to enjoy (I had pork belly which was lovely and plenty on plate) hubby had the hotdog which was a tad too spicy for him so did not get through...it, probably needed a 2 chilli sign next to it! He loved the beers and I enjoyed a Qld gin which was very flavoursome. Ambience quite good and the service was very slick and friendly . Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.More

Great venue. Family friendly and great food. There were even toys for the kids to play with so we could enjoy a peaceful meal and actually relax and enjoy a drink (or two).

One of the advantages of the growth in craft breweries around the country is that when you are travelling you get to experience the brew master's interpretation of a beer style at many different locations. Due to time constraints could only stop here for take...away. The mid strength Coastal Ale and the pale ale alone are worth returning for. Next visit will stop and enjoy some of the extensive range available on tap.More

Great beer and wine, great service, but we won't be back for the food. Ordered ribs and they were cold, fatty and not at all falling off the bone. Great place for a drink, but I'd skip the menu.

The beers are always lovely and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The outside has a wonderful view and is very relaxing. The chips are delicious and reasonably priced. A great place to relax and enjoy some beers. 😁

Went here for lunch and got a piece of Y-bone that they reckon was Wagyu. It was full of gristle and fat. When I complained about the quality of the meat they said they were running low on the better cuts so could only give...us an end piece. Mmmmm not good enough. When you are charging $38 for the wagyu and $36 for a pork chop we would expect much better quality than what we got. My wife tried to order 2 different main courses from their menu and both were out of stock. It was only 12 noon so I would've thought they may have had prepped a bit better than that. A very disappointing experience and won't be returning here anytime soon.More

Great atmosphere, tucked away off the mainstreet. We showed up late on a Sunday afternoon & were happy to sit in the brewery section. We shared a grazing platter, I'm gluten free & was apprehensive, but the bread provided was great. Would happily go back...again if I was in town.More

Hey Danielle, thanks so much for the review and dropping into our brewery. We searched high and low to make sure that we had a delicious gluten-free bread option. Hope to see you again when you are in town next.

Nice beers and food. The tasting paddle is great value and a good way to choose which beer to go for. The meals on the specials board were good. The decor was a bit disappointing. Nothing stand out from your average brew pub, couldn't even...hear any music on. The waiter (young lad from Montville) was great.More
