Sunday is obviously a very busy day for this popular place. We only had a snack but people were lined up for their Sunday buffet which looked delicious and well priced. The coffee was great and our snacks were delicious. An interesting art display and...More
Not a lot of options for lunch in Malanda but this served us well. A grilled barramundi, salad and chips at $20 was both enjoyable and reasonable value.
Wow what a reception as you enter this dairy centre and approach the staff to order your meal, they are such wonderful and helpful people we have encountered on our travels. The meals are also great and generous. The museum is also very educational.
The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasing to the eye with the museum, art gallery and the railway carriage all part of the experience. The Calamari Salad was made on premises it was both tender and mouth watering, we also had the Vegetarian Turkish Burger which...More
On a day trip through the Atherton tablelands, we nearly bypassed Malanda. However if you are coming through and need some replenishment, the Malanda Dairy Centre do delicious scones and milkshakes. It is a large restaurant with a small gallery attached. Can thoroughly recommend.

Had lunch with friends and a group of teenagers. The milkshakes were quite a hit with the children. Great choice of food on the menu and reasonably priced. Take the time to view the small museum attached to the restaurant.
