Wonderful staff + super delicious food

We went in today purely because the lady at the counter was so lovely and friendly, she offered us some smoothie samples and she was just super nice. We ended up ordering brunch and some juices. It was so delicious it all came out super quick and was such good value for money. Couldn’t fault anything especially the service! Will definitely be going back when in Kuranda next.

Amazing vegan restaurant

Fruibies has been providing great fresh juices and simple lunches since it arrived in Kuranda. Since opening up its diner as well as the juice bar, the range of food has extended. Great value for very filling food. There "nothing is impossible burger" is my favourite burger in Kuranda, with the added bonus that there are no fats or oils used at all. Food is very nicely set out. Chips are good too (again no oil). You could eat here and enjoy it not realising it is so healthy. It is delicious. I have visited here for lunch on many occasions.

Simply Amazing!

After hearing so many positive recommendations about Fruibies I finally had the pleasure of experiencing it first hand. I can honestly say this was the best cafe experience of my life! The food is clean, healthy and delicious and left me feeling energised and uplifed for hours. The place was buzzing when I was there and although it was busy the staff were super friendly and helpful and didn't miss a beat. I had an absolutely scrumptous roast pumpkin salad and a tropical fruit smoothie that was to live for :) I highly recommend this place and will be coming here often Congratulations Fruibies! You guys rock!

Overpriced and disposable all the way

The food was incredibly overpriced and not tasty. Had a falafel bowl which was basically a bowl of lettuce with 3 falafels and some mayo-like sauce. Everything is served in disposable tableware and I'm not confident any of it is actually composted. Would not recommend.

Had a $17 salad, mostly lettuce, had to ask for avocado (even though it said it on description. The garlic aioli was a thin and watery white dressing. No taste and didn't want to ask for salt and pepper from the unhelpful women who worked there.

Love these guys, this is the best cafe Ive ever been to. All the healthiest options, how can it be this delicious?! My fav's beside's juices and smoothies would be the mexicana salad, the worlds healthiest burger and the air fryed chips! I found out all their food including their sauces are made fresh and with no oil used ever. Keep up the awesome food and service. Wish you were everywhere!

Unprofessional and rude

Absolutely ridiculous that as a customer I was made to feel as if I was bothering the workers to serve me food when they are supposed to be open. It’s a Sunday at 9 am when you would expect them to be ready for customers and I walk by and the doors are only 1/2 way open and the workers are sitting on the counter chit chatting. I ask if they are open and they point at the juice bar and say that one is open. I wanted to eat food so I asked what about the restaurant since I want food and annoyingly the girl gets off the counter and tell me “just give me a minute”. Oh I’m sorry I’m asking you as a customer to serve me food. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. I of course didn’t wait instead walked to La Fonda Latina which said it was open and served vegan food and I had one of the best vegan breakfasts I’ve had in a long time with the friendliest worker/owner who was so happy to serve me. So please skip this place.

Don't bother, terrible

What an absolute disappointment and over priced rip off. Ordered a very expensive ($19.50) tropical burger. Was served to my table by one of the 3 kids that work there, yep no senior staff or supervision, and no knife or fork. When i asked for utensils was told they don't have any so i had to go wash my hands and use tthem. Burger was terrible. Patty was dry, consistency of falafel and no dressing on it at all other than the thinnest scrape of what i think was homus. Every mouthful so dry was hard to swallow. Worst vegan place I've ever experienced.

Abrasive and Rude

The food was mediocre but that didn't bother us as much as watching the manager be extremely rude to an Aboriginal man who just wanted to buy some soup! Kuranda markets sell everything Aboriginal, Paintings, didgeridoo's, boomerangs and the like, but they seem not to like the indigenous people being around. In addition the manager of this venue was also rude to her trainee staff. It just wasn't enjoyable.

High Quality Fresh Food made with love.

Yummmmm! Fruibies salad is delicious - they just know how to put ingredients together for a delicious hearty meal. The only place i know where the salad servings are big enough. The juice was brilliant, clean and sweet - made with love, sure is. And staff are helpful and friendly too. I needed some local info and they were able to direct me. I wish fruibies were everywhere. Next visit, I am going to try the pizza

We ordered the pizza and the vegan Mexican wrap. The pizza was routine. The Mexican wrap was dull and they had failed to include the avocado (which was one of the key listed ingredients). Still, convenient to have a vegan place in what is basically a remote tourist spot.

Slow service but nice food

We stopped in for a snack when we were in Kuranda as it was one of the only places open. Food was tasty and we both enjoyed it. Service was slow, but there was only one staff member in and the group before us placed a really big order.

Good healthy food - nice to find.

Excellent little cafe / bar/ juicers. The food was fresh and healthy. It’s pretty expensive, but it’s a pure tourist area and they have the tourists by the short and curries. The other options were less healthy. We had a felafel salad and a sweet potato salad. Both very nice.
