After a long walk (12km) from the bottom of Stoney Creek we were looking forward to a nice cool ale and some German tucker, well what a disappointment. A great place to eat when in Kuranda. The staff were casual and welcoming, the meal was yummy, making it a perfect place for lunch. A good selection of German sausages and delicious potato salad yum yum

There's a bunch of average looking cafes & eateries all along the main road of Kuranda, but this place looks quite fun from the outside. They serve simple German style sausages with the usual German side dishes, the meals come out pretty fast, the price...is really decent, the food is filling, and the German beer is pretty nice as well. The lady working the register & the grill was very friendly. Definitely worth a visit for anything from a quick bite to eat to a more substantial meal. They only took cash while I was there, not debit / credit cards, but you can buy enough things there with a $10 or $20 note.More

Unfortunately I didn't get to see the great man this time around.But,as per usual had a wonderful meal(Konigsplatte) with a cold beer.Hopefully will catch up with Paddy next time I'm in town.Cheers to all.

Great little spot. Eat in or take away (there is stand out the front for takeaway). Simply delicious food, highly recommend

The wurst here is delicious! Whilst only quite small, our lunch was very tasty and excellent value and we were served by a very cheery lady.

This place was just as expected. Some good wurst and cold German bier. Must better option that the local when doing your day trip here on the railway/skycar.

Whilst this may be a small shop, the food was well cooked and full of flavour. The crocodile sausage with sauerkraut was awesome
