They have recently obtained a liquor licence and set up a bar so you can enjoy a beer or wine with your meal. The food is always prepared fresh to go so there is not much time lost if you are passing through. They offer wifi now as well.

Always keen for a crab sandwich or burger, I couldn't help notice the giant crab on the building and several signs claiming to be famous for their crab burgers. I was sadly disappointed, what a rort! I'll try crab sandwiches or burgers anywhere I see them advertised and a common trick is to mix a bit of crab with seafood... More

I like the taste of chicken sandwich. Crab sandwich too had a decent taste but was lacking sauce. If you love the fresh crab taste without any much addition to it, you would like crab sandwich. The sandwich literally had only butter, lots of fresh crab and guess pepper; but I found it to be a good & simple taste.... More

Ordered take away fish & and chips and few extra items - crab claws, calamari and prawns. Nothing was fresh, prawns were very second rate, crab claws unidentifiable and everything was overlooked, greasy and practically inedible. Kids rated this as worst fish and chips ever - not bad considering we've had better meals in the middle of the desert. Very... More

Cardwell is a welcome relief on your drive North. The town has been cleaned up a treat since Cyclone Yasi. Seaview has the old time feel about it but has great crab sandwiches, crabcakes and coffee. Add the ocean views to top off your stop.

Gone down hill in the last few years , was the best in Cardwell a long time ago, ordered a crab burger was disgusting, given full re fund. Very young staff with no training or supervision, try the place on the opposite corner great food great service, if you like sea food the lady there gives you the best.

My wife and I decided to partake in Seaview Delis burger deal. Crab burger and a beer for $16. Don't waste your money! I have had crab burgers and sandwiches all around North Queensland, and quite simply, the burger was second rate. Famous? I don't think so. I could not taste crab in their burger, and I contained a pattie,... More

Fish & chips. Throwout! Fish greasy & overcooked - accompanied by soggy, limp, cold chips from bain-marie. Should have stuck with plan 'A' and eaten at the local hotel. What a disappointing dinner for a one night stayover in this lovely town. I do not like posting bad reviews but this meal ended up in the bin.

Excellent vista over the Coral Sea. Enjoyed the coffee and the bit to eat, Great range of food, no too cheap but very nice anyway. Busy but efficient. The purchasing and ordering is confusing with the till away from the food counter.
