PK's is a great place to watch the sport on the tvs and get to know fellow travellers over a drink and good old pub food when in Cape Trib. Its wide roof is enormous, giving it a real tropical atmosphere.

We went against advice of locals and came here today . I ordered the Vege burger thinking “ how can you stuff up a vege burger ?”! .. I think the photos tell the story . The vege part of the vege burger was some...kind of grey plasticine looking substance that I attempted to try and it tasted like hell . When the waitress came to collect the plates from the table and noticed it was uneaten asked me what was wrong with it , which I continued to tell her it was the most disgusting thing I’ve seen or tasted in my life . Her reply “ we’ve never had a complaint before “... ok, so obviously I’m the idiot here ... So the absolutely offended waitress storms off and says at the top of her voice to all the kitchen staff “ get this , that woman said that this is the worst thing she’s ever tasted “ and started laughing . Clearly this girl takes her job seriously and respects her employer greatly . Maybe this place isn’t aiming at a fussy crowd , and I’m not the fussiest person in the world , but this experience was one to post on Trip Advisor for anyone in the area - make sure you avoid this train wreck of a place .More

Quick service and great fish and chips. Cash only venue for both food and drinks, however, ATM placed near the bar.

Amazing place in the middle of the rain forests, wide open space and a good vibe but issues with the level of understanding of english by staff. One of the meals we ordered was a bowl of chips which stated on the board that it...came with a selection of sauce but when it arrived we were told we had to pay extra for sauce because we were in the middle of the jungle and it cost too much to get it there :). The food was not too bad though but they might need to lift their game to compete with the other food outlet over the road, which has it down to a fine art and (happen to have complimentary sauce :)More

Tried to have dinner here 1 night, lady taking the order didn't speak great English, menu was very basic and no prices on it. Walked away. Went back another night to try again, only pizza available! No GF options. Chorizo pizza only had 5 pieces...of chorizo on it but the chicken pizza was nice and the drinks from the bar were cold. Wouldn't rush back with so many other great options around the area.More

Staff are friendly but not overly capable, food was average but wait time for meals was appalling, 90 minute wait for meals and it wasn't busy. Heaps of "out of order" signs on things around the restaurant.

Good food for a fantastic price. Great atmosphere, mix of locals and backpackers. Recommend to anyone in the area.
