This is a long one so if you want the short story; save your tires, time and money and go somewhere else.
In a crowded dining/ordering area we were told 20 minutes by the lady CSR for our 2 small pizzas and a garlic bread,...which we were happy to wait, and the rest of the family who ordered after us were told the same.
We ended up waiting 40 minutes for the first batch of pizzas to arrive; but it was the family’s order not ours. We decided to wait another 5-10 minutes before realising our order wasn’t actually coming.
I approached the cook to be told he never received the order (no apology or anything just a frantic rush to find the order which he was never given by the CSR). He told me it will be another 10 minutes after already waiting 40 minutes and he didn’t care at all that our family’s pizzas were going cold or that a 20 minute wait has turned into almost an hour now and just kept ignoring me and refusing to apologise or make amends. I approached the lady CSR to sort it out and she blatantly lied and told me he had the ticket the whole time and they were just fulfilling a pre-order first (then why was the larger family order that ordered after us completed 10 minutes ago and why did he explicitly say he never received it?).
I tried to reason with her and get her to understand her mistake, her lying and our ridiculous wait and treatment but she went as far as to undermine us and say “You know it’s just pizza right?” while some hero customer came up and tried to fight for her as she continued to lie and accept zero responsibility and continue to belittle us over her mistake.
We realised she was far too stubborn/stupid (both?) to bother with so we sat and waited another 10 minutes for our 2 small pizzas and a garlic bread for a grand total of an hour and a whole lot of terrible service. We went home along their awful road littered with holes with a bunch of cold/rushed pizzas.
The pizzas were average at best; misshapen, quite small and lacking on the toppings (plenty of cheap rocket though aha). Hunger helped get them down pretty quickly after that ridiculous wait though.
Don’t bother; it’s just lucky to be one of the only few options in the area.More
Was great after a long day of exploring Cape trip ! Convenient if you’re camping in Cape Tribulation Camp. Pizza was a little pricey but there’s not much around, so you would expect prices to be higher than usual. Pizza was really good. Would recommend...to tourists driving through.More
