We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a beautifully created and manicured garden. Located just out of Barcaldine, Roses n Things offers a tempting selection of meal options - breakfast, brunch, lunch and morning/afternoon tea. We were served their Big Breakfast consisting of bacon and poached eggs and Kransky sausage with a tasty homemade tomato sauce along with coffee and tea all tastefully presented on country style crockery. A truly pleasant Sunday morning experience. Well done Jason and Lisa and their team. Recommend!

Checking into the Van Park was very streamlined – they emailed us our receipt and sent us an SMS of the link to the van site – so organised. Lisa and Jason were very friendly hosts. It’s a small van park and they had a great set up – large shady trees – grassed sites – clean and modern amenities. Free BBQ with seating and a gazebo area. Gorgeous sunset was a bonus. Very quiet and relaxing. We also enjoyed a great lunch at their Tea Garden which is very popular with the locals. Would have liked to stay longer.

This cafe is a little gem which also has a small caravan park which was full when we were there. The garden is pretty with some quirky garden art, especially the tree by the toilets at the back. Coffee and service were good with lots of sweet treats but no savoury “morning tea” sized items which disappointed me. The lunch menu looked good but we were there for morning tea. They were obliging and gave me some cheese instead of jam and cream with scones.

Beautiful garden setting and excellent service. Great coffee in big, colourful cups and perfectly toasted Turkish and scones were delicious. Despite being busy, everything was served promptly with a smile. Would definitely recommend.

Cannot say enough great things about this place. So peaceful. The sites are a great size, the price is sensational, the owners Jason and Lisa are so friendly and helpful. The park only has 11 sites so booking is recommended. Stayed for 4 peaceful and prefect days. The breakfast at the teahouse was sensational and do not miss the hot chocolate.

Lucky enough to secure a powered site in the caravan park here. Were met by Jason, one of the very friendly owners. Amenities were excellent and the grounds well kept. Walked from the 8 site caravan park to their adjoining cafe and sat outside in a lush garden under a huge sun umbrella. Ordered two big breakfasts and coffees which were awesome. Checked out their gift shop and walked away with some gifts for family which we hadn’t planned on. This business (all 3 sectors is a credit to the hard work that Jason and his family have put in over the last four years. Obviously popular with tourists and locals alike.

What a fabulous place. Just off the main road into Barcaldine, this boutique van park is just great. Only 12 van spaces, all grassed and each with views available to the west for stunning sunsets. Our hosts Lisa and Jason are most amenable, very accomodating as we re assessed our length of stay. The facilities are clean and functional, with laundry facilities attached. Just a 20 minute walk to town. Coffee and food available at the adjacent Tea Garden, this place was a pleasant surprise. We will be back.

Stayed at this small park for a night and WOW what a wonderful place. The amenities were excellent and spotless. The owner, Jason, was great to deal with, he met us at the gate and asked which site we wanted and then directed us into the spot. He then texted me the tourist places around town. Couldn't have been more helpful.

Jason and Lisa are salt of the earth people who own this wonderful boutique caravan park close to town centre. It has the cafe attached that does excellent breakfast and lunches in a beautiful garden environment. The park is only small with 11 sites but it’s a true oasis with shady trees, manicured lawn (with no prickles) and nice hedges that show how much this couple love their work. Without doubt the best small park we have stayed in to date and very sad to leave. Barcaldine is a wonderful town with many attractions so do yourselves a favour and book ahead to avoid disappointment. You could easily stay 3 days here to enjoy the local area and hospitality.

Best park on our trip. Sadly we didn't get time to eat in the beautiful gardens. Will definitely make for a longer stay if going to Barcaldine again. Jason was the epitome of the perfect host - could never get better. Boutique park - exceptional facilities. We finally had grass underfoot when sitting and enjoying a wine.
