$10 breakfast, 2 eggs on toast with a hash brown and sausage with fried onion caressed in gravy with a fries tomato. Treat and bloody good value.
I’m stopping to eat here whenever I drive by.
Service was friendly and delivery was quick.
Babinda is a great little town and this cafe makes it greater.

On our way to Babinda Boulders we stopped at this Cafe.It looked inviting like a nice rural Place…where you think you get great customer service. We were not disappointed
We chosen the lunch special for $12 fish and chips with Salad. It was nicely presented

5 of us today on motorcycles. Often stop here on a Sunday morning for brekky/brunch/snack and coffee if up to 8 of us riding the highway. Great value breakfast special, vast range on menu. Great food and coffee. Usually fairly busy but good service, food and coffee from efficient, friendly and obliging staff.

I came here with my mum on our way to see the boulders and based on the reviews it seemed to be a safe bet. However, the food we were served was actually inedible, my burger came out on a dirty plate that had food caked on it from a previous meal and mum's food looked like it had been reheated about 10x over a period of weeks before hitting the plate. Both of our coffees were also terrible, i ordered an iced latte and got a glass of lukewarm milk that was slightly coffee coloured. We literally couldnt eat or drink what we paid for, not sure if they were having an off day or if everyone who has left a review so far enjoys food that isn't fit for human consumption.

Sweet cafe which is a great pit stop after Babinda Boulders or Josephine Falls. Open on Sunday when not much else is. We ordered the seafood basket which was generous and appreciated the fresh salad, piece of fruit and nuts as a side. It’s the little touches that count.

Not many places to eat in babinda. Didn’t want a bakery meal. Found this gem. Home made food.i had a great steak sandwich which actually had a good size steak cooked perfectly and soo much salad on it. My hubby had a burger with the lot. Looked great and he was happy. Good coffee and tea. Couldn’t fit it in but next time we visit I would try the fruit smoothies and a cake. They all looked great and made on site. They also do a $8 cooked brekky which was very popular.

Given the previous reviews and a recommendation from a friend, we decided to check it out for breakfast. Staff were great and the atmosphere was nice - the food almost was but everything was just slightly off. Long black was delicious but tiny. Toasties were delicious but tiny. Scrambled egg include tomatoes but was microwaved (?!) and toast was soggy. Mango coconut cake was lovely, but the mango slices clearly came from a tin. Lemon meringue pie was tasty but old and spongey.

Stopped into Babinda on one of my regular trips to Cairns and found this cool looking cafe at the end of the main street on the way to the Boulders and decided to give it a try. The best little cafe I've come across in a long time, and I've got a few favourites scattered around Australia. Coffee and drinks are great, but the food is outstanding. Had fish, chips and salad, the salad being probably the best I've ever had in a country cafe. Staff are very friendly, and a fantastic peaceful setting. Will be spending a lot more time here!

It was so nice to be able to get a good meal in town on Easter weekend. We were a bit late returning to our hotel and very thankful that they were still open.
The burgers were so big I had a hard time finishing mine.
Definitely worth stopping in for a bite if you are in the area

Drove through Babinda on a Sunday morning in the way to the boulders. This was the only place that was open but it was a really good stop for brekky and coffee. Only small but a great setup. Friendly staff, quick service and definitely worth stopping at.

Happened upon this cafe by chance as the local bakery was closed, but very happy. My husband had the $10 lunch meal and was very happy.

Had the fish burger, calamari salad and banana milkshake. Food was very fresh, tasty, good sized and inexpensive. Service was quick too. Highly recommend this place.

Latte was great and gluten free orange and poppy seed muffins were moist and delicious! Looking forward to trying the Pina Colada Sorbet as well! Thank you to the friendly staff at Kool Spot Cafe!
