Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dreadful service, horrible food, not what I ordered. Felt like we were a chore just being there. Very disappointed. Won't go back.

This is my new go to place. The Chai Latte, poached eggs and the Chicken Club sandwich is exceptional. It is not too busy so service is great. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. What more could you want. I noticed some...past reviews that had issues with the Chef ...this is strange as he is such a nice guy ,,maybe its a different chef now.More

Called in for breakfast. Had the spinach omelette, it was good! Coffee good also. Strangely it was quite warm inside, despite it being the morning and quiet cool outside!

First time I've stopped in here in sometime and the service was very friendly with lots of smiles from the moment I arrived. The coffee was good. Had a bacon and egg croissant which was very good. Will stop in again soon.

I rang Silo and asked them to organise tables for 16 cyclists in an hour. No trouble for these ladies! We arrived, ordered and sat on the outside near our bicycles which are safe, within sight and under cover. Within minutes our drinks and food...began arriving. When we all had our orders the waitress came along to ask if we were all OK - not a complaint. I would Highly recommend.More

We had lunch here before heading to a conference. It was convenient because we shopped at the IGA. My ham and pineapple open grill sandwich was a bit sad - boring deli ham, some bits of pineapple, cheese just melted, but not golden and toasty....The accompanying chips were nice and I enjoyed the milkshake.More

Sadly not a very nice experience. Inexperienced staff and a nasty chef with an attitude. First and last time I will be going to Silo.

The Silo Cafe has a very limited menu so you would think they would do it right. Not so. The Ham, Cheese and Tomato Omelet was OK but the Chef needs to learn Ciabatta Bread must only be lightly toasted or it becomes rock hard....The Smashed Avocado should be jut that, smashed avocado, not minimal avocados avocados puréed with sour cream. The feta cheese was a very poor variety and lacked any flavour or saltiness at all. The star of the dish was the side of bacon. As for the price, $43.00 for two meals and two coffees.More

My food was not even close to the discription in the menu. My wife’s food was over cooked and my sons greasy sandwich was mouldy and very smelly. We waited for ages and was deliver after we asked for our money back. Got attitude from...staff when the crappy for was brought to there attention and asked again for our money back. This food was not eatable We had to ask again for our money back while they discussed the problem with the food amongst them selves. Ended up going around the corner and had a nice meal. Would not recommend this place and be don’t go there if you want fresh food.More

Well.... Really hoped it was going to be good. Simple menu, ordered simple cafe meals. Ordered the Bruschetta on ciabatta bread, thinking you can't go wrong. Turned out to be Turkish bread with pesto and about 6 diced tomatoes on top. Also asked for avocado...as a extra and didn't get that. The tomatoes were watery like they were frozen. Ordered the chicken Caesar salad and fish, calamari, chips and salad. First of all Caesar salads have Cos lettuce not mixed lettuce leaves, the poached egg was solid. The calamari tasted like the ocean and rubbery. $60 wasted and a lot of wasted food. Will not return. 👎🏻More

Wife and I were cycling around the Tablelands and were recommended this cafe. Lovely friendly service by both the ladies. Great coffee and a slice of well buttered raisin toast. Just what we needed!

Located just down from Macca's. We ate here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon just after the rush period. Traditional Fish & Chips & a BLT sandwich with chips on the side; followed by coffee & hot chocolate. Portion size was good and food was...tasty. Staff are friendly & professional but a little slow in cleaning the tables. Would return.More
