Gracious colonial charm complete with tessellated tiles in the bathroom, lead light windows and classic quality furnishings. Unfortunately we hadn’t booked so couldn’t enjoy the Saturday High Tea but Pizza was available from the bar. Lovely highland lodge feel.

The Grande Hotel of Hepburn Springs is an historic country guest house bordering the magical Wombat Forest. Stay, wine & dine with us at our unique destination guest house & restaurant for an experience of fine food, conviviality & country charm amidst stunning forest scenery. The Grande's rustic, quirky character & its cosy lounge bar, open fires, shady verandahs, garden courtyards, guest rooms right down the hall & convenient village location provide the perfect place to relax in nature. Our restaurant 'Locale @ The Grande' is where Michelin star-experienced chef Domenico De Marco creates slow, beautiful food with much devotion. He invites you on a culinary adventure through a set-course menu of modern Italian cuisine & also offers a 'cucina' menu which focuses on the rustic & traditional, or as he likes to call it, 'the food that is in my blood.' Dom's way is to cook from scratch, render honour to his produce, waste little & share in the enjoyment his food gives. So come enjoy!
