I love when I go places by chance and the satisfaction makes me leave with a smile on my mouth and that happened to me at this place. I went by chance, I put "breakfast near me" on Google and this place was the closest so I went over.
To begin with, the place is super cozy, small, with the warmth of a fireplace but with an incredible charm that makes it a pleasure to sit inside. It also has a beautiful garden which on sunny days must be a delight, unfortunately when I went it was raining.
The staff is a pleasure, always with a smile and super friendly, making me feel comfortable at all times.
As for the food..., simply incredible, I ordered a roast beef toast with poached eggs that was quite consistent and a good size but so tasty that I didn't even have enough of it.
Site highly recommended by me and very worth it.

We went back to our favourite eatery in Daylesford after a year and it was well worth the visit. We ordered the roast lamb and hummus meal $25 which was very delicious. The servings are not the largest but the flavour profile was outstanding just wish there was more lamb as it was so so tender. The coffee was nice and hot and it was a good brew. Staff were exceptional. Look forward to our next visit

Cosy place, find a nook and enjoy a delicious coffee and yummy breakfast. The menu had some original twists and it's fun to try something new, not disappointed, rewarded by friendly staff and silky kimchi omelette, hubby ate Reuban toastie. Enjoy!

We are not hard at all to please and don’t mind paying for a decent meal , however this was one of the worst breakfasts we’ve ever had . We were assisted to our table by a pleasant guy who was friendly and helpful .
Both of our meals were awful , mine was swimming in so much oil it was dripping of the fork and the bread on the side was the same . Difficult to eat it was tasteless and over priced . My partners was the same . Our second server was disinterested and she nver smiled or made eye contact.
Extremely over rated .

Frequented by many locals (a great sign for a warm cafe) the ambience was cute, and quirky. In the midst of a Winter blast, the open hearth fire provided plenty of heat and was supported by an inventive and delicious menu. A great way to start your day of sightseeing.

We enjoyed a day trip from melbourne and of course had to visit ‘pancho’. We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints for food quality. My husband ordered the chicken congee which was filling and very delicious. I had the salad roll which was ‘out of this world’. The beetroot absolutely made this roll AMAZING. So much so, that we ordered a second one to go and shared it between us. Coffee was good, nice and hot. The menu changes seasonally and isn’t very extensive, but I am always able to find something really yummy to eat. We will be back

Lunch here on our way back from the Elvis exhibition in Bendigo was much anticipated! We love this place and it’s very popular, so waited about 10 minutes for a table inside, but it was so worth it! We were upstairs (quite a steep, spiral staircase) but that adds to the quirkiness of the place! Despite a full house, our lunch was delivered relatively promptly and was completely delicious. All staff seem relaxed, and are welcoming and helpful. The menu is quite small but our meals were hot and tasty - perfect for a cold winter day. Highly recommended.

We visited on a busy Sunday morning & were seated in the garden at the back. COVID 19 protocols were observed when we arrived & we felt very safe. The staff were friendly & our hot drinks & breakfasts arrived within a reasonable time. I had the omelette & would have it again & again; while my husband enjoyed poached eggs with ham & avocado & would reprise his meal too. The menu is small, but the dishes are beautifully presented, very fresh & good value. We'll be back.

I've scored Pancho as average simply because the menu had very limited choices. However, the hot roast beef sandwich was very nice and the staff were all very welcoming and our meal was served in a timely manner. We did not order Coffee as there was no low fat (cows) milk option...well at least on the day we visited. The front indoor seating area is also small but there are at least two outdoor areas.

After one failed attempt to get a decent coffee in Daylesford town centre we discovered Pancho. There was a rather long cue with a sign saying to cue for a table or takeaways. We were desperate for a good coffee so assumed a solid cue meant the wait would be worth it. So after 10 mins of waiting it was our turn to order only to find they had no skim milk but could offer us almond or soy!!!! Could this not have been written on your sign to avoid a disappointing waste of time?????

My husband and I came for brunch, we waited about 10 minutes for a table, but it was certainly worth the wait. The staff were all lovely, efficient, and the room was so cosy. But the food was exceptional. My husband had the sardines which he said were delicious and I just had sourdough toast, avocado and the most magnificent tasting mushrooms. Unfortunately they were not open Sunday or we would have been back !!

Lovely ambience... tad chilly downstairs but cosy upstairs. Excellent service. We both had the Slow cooked lamb with hummus for lunch. Truly outstanding. Lots of different flavours. Velvety smooth hummus, perfectly cooked or fresh vegetables and herbs plus melt in your mouth slow cooked lamb.

Started coming to Pancho's after an Airbnb host recommendation when staying in Daylesford. Having moved here permanently I have the pleasure of frequenting for brunch weekly and the standard is consistent. The coffee, fresh OJ and the clean flavours of the food are always 100%. The staff are highly professional with a warmth that is noticeable. They have had to work hard to keep patrons safe throughout the pandemic and have done so with professionalism and kindness. This is definitely in the top 10 places to visit when you come to Daylesford and for me it is number 1 for brunch.

Love this cafe! The menu was was quite small but everything we had was delicious. My poached eggs on rosti with greens and avo was one of the tastiest brekky's I've ever had. My teen kids had the muesli with yoghurt and fruit compote and the brekky roll, which they both enjoyed too. The coffee was also excellent.
