Called in for a Saturday lunch with my mum. A good spread of food at the carvery. Helpful staff who helped my mum carry her plate. Hot and tasty roast beef meal. We were surprised it wasn't packed out. Hope to return soon.

Fully booked at lunch so had a late sitting. All nine of us had the carvery and had plates full of meat, veg and Yorkshire pudding. The empty plates at the end are the best way of highlighting how we rated the food!

Called here with coach party for carvery lunch. The meal was really excellent. Roast pork cooked to perfection and the huge Yorkshire puds were home made. Plenty of choice with the veg and all the food was hot and freshly cooked. Highly recommend this place,...More

Description
The Moor & Pheasant Country Pub & Carvery is open Wednesday to Sunday. We serve great value traditional roasts, family favourites like Steak & Ale pie and veggie curries along with a great selection of desserts to tempt those of you with a sweet tooth. Mains are all just £8.95 (Children's Portions £4.95), desserts are just £2.95, and we've a great value wine list to match so you can treat the whole family without breaking the bank! There's no need to make a reservation, however if you are planning to come with a larger group (above 6) it might be a good idea to call ahead so we can get a table ready for you. We always try to cater for those with allergies, however it is much easier if you can let us know before you visit as that gives us a chance to prepare something special!
