Ordered lasagne with brisket beef-unfortunately not as tasty as traditional lasagne & had excessive oil on top of dish. Flat bread was very bland & did not have garlic. Very disappointing. Unfortunately staff didn't seem concerned when informed on verbal feedback. Although very quiet when visited service could have been better.

If the owners of this and I presume the Bulls Head at Repton were here tonight, I think they would have been disappointed. Firstly the toilets are disgusting- they stink. Secondly the tables were dirty. I have to say, I feel sorry for the staff as they were all working hard but... My starter plate came with some old lettuce... More

A superb friendly atmosphere - every table full! We were served by a young lady called Hannah - probably the best service I have experienced anywhere in a very long time! The menu is quirky amazing wood fired pizza menu, superb steaks, outrageous meat skewers - food is good - not amazing...but plentiful and fun! We went for a big... More

having noted the generally run down feel of the place since my last visit years before, especially the benches and tables of the outside area to the rear of the lounge, we decided to give the place a chance and went to the bar to order, we found ourselves stuck in a queue behind a family that couldn't decide what... What appears to be a normal English Pub is soon dispelled when you start dining at the Swan. It is very rare to find a place that offers attentive, personal service with fantastic food. This is one of those gems. We have eaten all over the world and this would be close to the top of any list we had.... More

We enjoyed a totally delicious valentines special meal here on Tuesday evening. The chicken soup with ginger and spring onions was so flavourful I would of been happy with a giant bowl of just that but I still had an array of more delicious dishes to follow. We had the beef sharer and honestly I could of sucked the bone... More

Recently started using this place as it is part of the group that runs the Bulls Head in Repton which is our favourite place to eat. The pub itself is very cosy with attentive staff and an excellent pizza menu which are extremely big and very tasty. Have not tried any of the other menu but are planning another visit... More

Visited on a Saturday night with family. Staff were friendly but stretched extremely thin. 20+ minutes before our drinks order arrived. Brother in law ordered alcohol free beer as he was driving and got served something that was 5.3% after being assured it was 0%. Tables are crammed together with little room to manoeuvre. You WILL have neighbouring parties bumping... More

We sat outside in the summer and had the most delicious fish and chips ever !!! The fish was really fresh, big, thick,, white and flakey. The chips were done to perfection, and with mushy peas and tartare sauce, it was fantastic. We have been several times since, and had the same meal, as we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended.

We visited for a lunchtime snack.......for the first time in a number of years. This pub had been a lovely location but cheap, tacky and not worthy of its location. Recently it has had a make over and appears lovely. I had a salt and pepper chicken escalope sandwich which was fine....not great....but worth the money. My wife had the... More
