This place is old school. Brilliant food at a great price.. Full off characters and top staff. 10/10 in my book

Once again the breakfast was hearty and excellent, food is well cooked and the owner is polite and friendly. Well worth a visit and the fact it's frequented by the locals shows it's good.

Although the cafe looks a little tired it's great! Home cooked food. Breads. Cakes and a cracking breakfast

I’ve lived in Melbourne since birth and have seen many changes but I’m pleased to say that some things stay unchanged. The food is homel cooked, tea tastes as good as my granny made and the decor brings back memories of my childhood. I hope...More

Did a bit of shopping in Melbourne, approx. 10 am felt a little peckish, called into the Welcome cafe, chose the special breakfast. 2 x breakfasts, 2 x coffee, 3 x toast, under £10 -00 in total. Excellent Quality, Excellent value, can’t fault the cafe.

Had lunch here just before Xmas and it was disgusting. Unfortunately the previous owner had retired and his food was superb. The new owner needs to get his act together and provide food that is worth what you pay for it.
