Visited during a 3 day stay in Castleton and will definitely be returning. Went on a Monday night which I presume is a quiet night as although it state the restaurant's opening hours are until 11, when booking we were told that on Mondays the latest booking was 8.15 but this wasn't a problem. Anyway onto the food, I had... More

Visited as a group of 6 having had a recommendation from the owner of the B&B we were staying at. Food was fabulous! There was a good range of starters and mains on the menu, Would definitely recommend the tomato, anchovy, rocket and fennel salad starter. The king prawn linguine was hot and absolutely heavenly! The service was excellent........friendly and... More

We had dinner here mid-week. Service was efficient and friendly. Nice meatball calzone pizza and a good bottle of puglia wine. Would definitely eat here again and try some more dishes from the menu.

Staff where very attentive, all three courses where excellent, we booked very last minute and despite it being a busy Saturday evening they seated us at a great table prior to those who had booked earlier, timing between courses was exact

This is our 3rd visit to the Peak District and out 3rd visit to this amazing restaurant. Alicia is such a hard working person and she never fails to impress us with her memory. She serves us so well each time and the ambience is so perfect for a quiet dinner. I brought my husband here last night for his... More

We come here on a regular basis and we thoroughly enjoy it. It's a great Italian and there's so many options you can choose from, from pats to tapas amongst other dishes. We really enjoy coming here and it's reasonably priced! We got 3 soft drinks, one starter and 2 mains and it came to £33! We will be back... More

A dark January night, so we were looking forward to a meal out with friends at a new venue. The restaurant is in an old building which has been tastefully renovated, and the general ambiance is warm and welcoming. The waitresses (two of them) were friendly, and the food was decent though not outstanding. One waitress then presumably clocked off,... More

We visited midweek and although for a while we were the only people in there, we didn't feel awkward and the restaurant was cosy. I had emailed the restaurant via the website earlier in the day to ask if we could just drop in or if we had to book. I got a speedy reply from Alicia which was nice... More

Visited twice during a short break as it was so good. Food was excellent on both occasions - all very fresh and tasty. Authentic Italian with a great menu and good wine options.

We had a family walk on Mam Tor and had booked this place for lunch. It was a great choice! We were the only ones in but I think it mainly caters for the evening trade. The food is fantastic and probably my favourite meal of 2016. The blackcurrant ice cream is to die for! Five of us with drinks... More
