There's everything to like about here; the food, the ambience. Ample seating in and outside. Near many trail ends so it makes a good spot to celebrate the end of the walks.

Popped in for a spot of breakfast while visiting Castleton. Started with two nice hot Cappuccinos that were promptly served by the friendly staff and then had the full English breakfast, which was very tasty and clearly used quality ingredients.

It doesn’t look much from the road but there’s a wonderful garden at the rear with plenty of shade if the sun is out. Steeped in history and serving wonderful food, this is a gem not to be missed. The cream tea with a warm...More

There were dogs in the rear garden when we attended. May be a bit chilly outside this time of year might be worth checking with the establishment if you plan to sit inside.
