We have been visiting no 44 for a few years. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We usually have breakfast such as scrambled or poached eggs with toast and a drink. We have noticed lately that it is not always as good as we would expect, sometimes toast overdone, poached eggs a little too well done. It is fairly expensive... More

Have visited a few times of late for breakfast or brunch. Food is always good although portion sizes smaller than other local alternatives and is a little expensive. Still cash only which can be a little inconvenient and just feels a bit lazy too

Myself and 5 other of my girls friends had a great meal and Nourish. The meal from start to finish was lovely. Couldn't of asked for better. Love the style of the restaurant. Will definitely be going back.

Having never visited for Breakfast before, we decided to try the full breakfast. It was huge (one plate could have fed us both). The sausages and bacon were of a very high standard, eggs perfectly cooked and the toast was thick and delicious. Washed down with a fresh coffee we didnt really need to eat for the rest of the... Went here for breakfast and foolishly chose poached eggs. They were nearer to hard boiled than poached - very disappointing. You can always judge a breakfast by how they cook the eggs and whether they are boiled, fried, scrambled or poached the yolk should be runny unless you specifically ask for it not to be!

Had to call into Belper and stopped here for a quick coffee and toast. A little haphazard- got white not brown toast as I ordered and no knives or serviettes. Nice decor and friendly staff. Menu looked lovely for lunch etc.

We booked here for Sunday lunch over the Easter weekend and were surprised to find it very quiet with only a handful of tables occupied when we arrived. The food was very good, served hot and with a nice range of side dishes from traditional vegetables to an interesting Mediterranean potato variation. The staff were lovely and the service excellent.... More

We shared a family meal for 8 in the upstairs of the restaurant with some excellent live music in the background. All of the waiting staff were polite, friendly and efficient and made the evening thoroughly enjoyable. All 8 of us enjoyed the food very much and the overall "feel" of the place was lovely. I can see how the... More

It has been a while since we visited Nourish, and our first visit since they expanded and opened upstairs. The dining area upstairs is better than downstairs, but the "urban retro chic" look is somewhat bland and missing character. The background technomusic was too loud and not to our taste. The food was OK - but that is all, and... More
