Called in for a drink after a Mothers Day stroll. Didn't eat, but food smelled lovely. Drinks were a very reasonable price, with plenty of interesting choices on draught. Good car park, clean loos, and nice beer garden. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Will certainly...More

Went for the Sunday dinner cob. Been before and arrived a bit late last time. Roast beef cob with roast potatoes and gravy. Tasted great again this time. Freindly staff. Always clean.

Lovely pub on the outskirts of Belper. The outside has a combination of grassed area, patio and decking with fantastic country views. The pub itself is always spotless, nicely decorated and well maintained. There are always 4 real ales along with a range of ciders,...More

A traditional Derbyshire Country Pub. Perfectly kept Real Ales (4) and a range of Lagers, Ciders and top quality Wines. We serve Butchers Snacks and made-to-order filled Cobs; on Sunday we offer Hot Roast Beef Cobs with Roasties and 'real' Gravy. Very much an Ale & Wine House serving 'snacks for drinkers' rather than offering a Restaurant offering. We cater for Funeral Wakes, Christenings and Family Parties. The Pub is very 'dog friendly' and boasts a large garden and sun terrace - the sun shines on the property all day and sets on the front of the Pub and the Terrace. Classic pub games on offer - Darts, Dominoes, Table Skittles, Cribbage.
