The vegetables were beautifully cooked and the presentation was clean and simple. Both dishes were full of flavour. We could see exactly what we were eating. One of our party of three had eaten there previously, so expectations were high! The lady that served us was helpful offering advise and seemed warm and genuine on the choice of the mock... More

Western ate here on a Friday in Jan. The food was really good authentic thai. Service was super fast and both food and wine were reasonably priced. Tables are quite close so I can see why some would not like this when it is busy. However, if that doesn't bother you then this is a great place to eat in... More

We needed to accost two seperate people going about their business before we got accurate directions which led us to this underground gem. Hidden in a small alley, it was easy to miss, as it is in an atmospheric cellar. We had rung in to book, which turned out to be sensible, as they were very busy on a Saturday night.... More

Just had a takeaway here and very disappointed indeed . Ordered grilled squid starter which was cold and uncooked it was translucent and inedible! The stir fried chicken was ok but the egg fried rice had been microwaved so much it had a crusty top! A friend had beef aromatic curry which was tough and the sauce was like water.... More

Went with our son who lives most of the time in Thailand and has done for many years. The food pleased him so that's a good recommendation in itself. We all enjoyed our food and my husband especially enjoyed the banana fritter with coconut. The food was tasty, fresh and just the right amount of chilli for our individual taste.... More

Been to this restaurant several times and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It's basic and located in a cellar in a side alley and can easily be missed but well worth seeking it out. The food is very authentic Thai and good value. The service is great and very friendly.

Tucked away in an alleyway in the centre of town, this restaurant is easy to walk past despite it's eye-catching sign. The restaurant is below ground level in a vaulted cellar made up of a number of linked rooms making it feel really intimate and atmospheric. The menu is quite wide ranging and also has a number of varied set... More

Visiting Ashbourne for just one night and chose this restaurant after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. It's a nice setting with vaulted ceilings but we did find the tables a bit close together so not much privacy. The menu is extensive with almost too much choice and the dishes weren't described very well more a list of ingredients. We didn't... More
