The food was delicious, and we were made to feel like welcome guests rather than merely customers. I recommend it highly.

Stopped here for tea and cake whilst walking. There was a pleasant walk to the nearby waterfall and our group of 4 received a warm welcome and very good choice of tasty cakes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the ambiance. Friendly staff, a lovely roaring fire in the lounge all gave a very relaxed and pleasant experience. We will definitely go again.

Only popped in for coffee and cake but wanted to return for dinner. Alas it was fully booked. Very interesting place and worth a visit if you are walking to Spout or in the area. Menu looked good and wholesome, but quality.
