We stopped off here after arriving on the narrow gauge railway from Eskdale. There's a great selection of real ale beers and a good menu choice. We had sandwiches and chips and they were delicious. It is dog-friendly and lovely and toasty inside on a cold wet day over Easter. There's worse ways to kill an hour or so waiting... More

Good selection of food, lovely and warm (it was cold out when we visited). Price range is about right and the food was very nice. Good selection of ales, and soft drinks and children's menu. Service good, clean and nice location. Best cheese and broccoli bake ever!

If you visit anywhere to eat in Ravenglass, eat here. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is great. I am a vegetarian and there was plenty of choice on the menu and on the two occasions I ate there, I was not disappointed; big portions, full of flavour and piping hot. The desserts are fantastic; the crumble was... More

Lovely visit to the Ratty arms - milk shakes, drinks and food for us all. Great service despite there being only one behind the bar and one serving food. Good quality, fair pricing and the novelty of the railway station. Cosy and friendly atmosphere and only 2 stops from our pad in Seascale. Would definately recommend.

We had lunch prior to a trip on the ratty. Very tasty meals. Kids meals are excellent value as a drink is included in the £4.95. suprisingly good selection of vegetarian meals, which pleased my niece. Good salad garnish and lively puds. Really enjoyed our meals. Would eat here again

We are regular visitors to Ravenglass and always stop in the Ratty Arms a few times whilst we're here. The food is basic pub food with a twist! The menu and drinks are very reasonable and you definitely get your money's worth. After a full day walking we came to the Ratty for food and drinks: we both had excellent... More

Been here many times as a kid. Returned 18 years later to see if it was still great.. it did not disappoint. Me and my wife had 2 coffees with our lunch. Cumberland sausage baugutte and the beef baguette soaked in gravy. It was fantastic. Nice fire place keeping you warm and setting a lovely atmosphere. Dog friendly to. Will... More

Love the table and seat booth set up like a train carriage on the platform, you can feel the trains go by. The food was very good and the staff are lovely too.
