Went here on Sunday, had fish and chips, the fish was the size of a whale!!!!! The food was as tasty as it looked. Excellent service, will be going again, the Sunday lunch looked lovely, that's on our menu for next time we visit Maryport.

On our way to Allonby called in here first for lunch,a great decision.Had the fish and chips absolutely delicious the batter was fantastic and the fish massive.my wife had prawns with jacket again delicious all this and a great welcome from Chris and his staff.

Visited for Sunday lunch which was absolutely excellent and the service was really good with a very pleasant waitress, could not fault this visit.

we had a meal here and it was great. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The portions are massive so you will not go hungry. Food was fresh - I had veggie lasagne lovely.

Hi, yes they are dog friendly. My sister took her dog when we had a meal there and they gave him his own bowl of water.

Captain Nelsons is a fine place to Eat Quality Fish and Chips, i am certainly looking forward to eating there again, i was catered for very well with a very serious dairy and egg allergy, nothing was too much trouble... More
