Lovely, proper old fashioned pub. Nice atmosphere and an impressive range of Gins. Real ale on sale. Called in this pub during our stay at the local Premier Inn just a short taxi ride away.

Not been here for ages but we happened to be passing and hadn't had any lunch so stopped in for a (very - gone 3 pm ) late lunch on a Sunday. They were still serving and we found a table with no trouble. Had 2 kids' garlic breads, a pate and a black pudding to start all of which... More

After trying to get in at a near by pub and not being able to as it was fully booked. We decided to try The Bulls Head. I am glad we did! Everything was amazing! They had four cask ales on. Two of these being local. These were in good condition. The food we ordered was really nice too. We... More

Having read the reviews, we drove out on a cold and miserable January day and enjoyed an excellent lunch in hospitable surroundings. Toilets were clean and bright with lots of super hot water. Service was friendly and efficient. All in all a pleasant break.

Returned here for a drink with a friend having been away for several years. Still a great building despite some strange decor........ not unpleasant. Avoid the Merlot, the Tempranillo is much nicer and unless you like chewing rubber avoid the salt and pepper squid/calamari. Didn't progress to a main meal but the food coming out of the kitchen looked good.

This is the first time we have been to this pub having walked past a few times. This place has a great family run vibe to it with very friendly and helpful bar staff. They have a lovely menu and the food is delicious. Always book as it got really busy. A chap had tripped on the stairs and all... More
