Popped in for a drink and stayed all evening! Greeted by a lovely young man at the bar, we were made to feel very welcome. The pub has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty if comfy seating. Really pleased to have stumbled on this gem.

Ate in the white bear today and can happily say that I am glad I did. Good food and drink topped off with a beautifully restored traditional pub made for a very enjoyable evening.

Went for dinner and was delicious. Was very quiet only us and another couple in the whole pub as it was Monday lunch time which was a bonus. Food was delicious!! Will be returning very soon.

We were never told why, but we waited an hour and twenty minutes for our meal to arrive. We were the second group of people in the pub, we arrived promptly at 2pm, we only had a main course , and waited ages. Our suspicions...More
