This has to be one of the worst place to eat out in the country! Really bad from the host to the food. Overcooked and probably just microwaved food. I would not advise to come and eat in this place to my worst enemy!

I wish I did not even think of coming here. Where can I start? Everything was terrible, the food was straight from a kitchen nightmare. Decor was like the Adams family! The owner was rude and unwelcoming. I would not recommend this place to Anyone

This was our second time here, again on a groupon deal, slight problem with our booking, but after this was sorted we were squeezed in! Service was prompt waiting staff were excellent all food was beautiful, large portions, the menu had been altered, before you could get steaks for a supplement, but I am sure you could find something you like off the normal menu, all courses were... We went as a family for an evening out. We were taken straight to the table as we were told that a party was due in. The party did turn up 2 hours later.... Food was nice, not wonderful but for half price was good value. Would not have wanted to pay full price. The main issues that we had... More

We have just had a night out at the Hudsons restaurant. What a wonderfully surprising place, totally different to what we had expected. We had a warm welcome by lovely staff who were all dressed in Edwardian clothing. It was like walking back into another era. We enjoyed a relaxing drink in the lounge before a delicious 3 course meal.... More

We'd been intrigued by this restaurant for a while and were pleased to be invited there by friends a few nights ago. Wish we hadn't bothered. The waiting staff were really nice and the atmosphere was very friendly but the positives stopped there. All our food was poor quality for the price charged. For example my chicken was overcooked, the... More

We dined at Hudson's via a Travelzoo voucher. We'd been unable to print it off, but the hostess was most helpful and tolerant in letting us deal with it on our iPad. The main objective seemed to be to "de stress us" and get us settled in with a drink...........lovely. This is a restaurant with a difference. Feels a bit... More

Arriving at the venue we were welcomed by a wonderful young lady dressed as an Edwardian maid. We were welcomed very warmly in the bar area, where we were served with bobs and curtsy which were very traditional and made ma'am and Sir feel like gentry. The room was in traditional Edwardian style with pictures from the era, and odds... More

We just couldn't imagine going anywhere else for Mother's Day! The 3 course lunch was £12.99 - a bargain if you ask me and the food was delicious (although we did have a couple of niggles which were aired at the time hence 4 stars instead of 5!) That said I would recommend The Sandhurst without a second thought and... More

Dined here sat evening. The staff were very welcoming, the edwardian theme is a nice touch. The food was very good and the service was attentive without feeling hounded. All in all a pleasant experience that we will look to repeat in the future

Pull up at Middlewich’s Sandhurst Hotel, home of Hudson’s Restaurant, and you could be mistaken for thinking you’ve been invited to a middle class dinner party. With little signage, no neon lights and the very pleasant facade of an Edwardian family home, this is a million miles from your average hotel or restaurant. Inside the homely feel continues with plush carpeting and curtains, Chesterfield sofas in the bar and not-too-ostentatious chandeliers overhead. Only the Edwardian costumed waiting staff give the game away. The menu continues the ruse, true British ingredients make up hearty meals, but the dishes have something of an edge over your average suburban dinner party.
