The food was ok, apart from my medium T Bone that was very well done. A bit pricy too. Staff were quite friendly

Friendly and attentive staff, spacious and airy, good quality tasting food - as a previous review suggests, the Duke of Gloucester is now back on track.
We use to be regular customers a few years ago and the pubs back up there with food drinks and service all very good pub food the kitchen team are a credit to the pub
While spending a weekend at the Travelodge next to the Duke of Gloucester due to working in Crewe we ate there every night. I found it spacious indoors and out, the beer was good, staff friendly and helpful and the food nice with generous portions....More

Sunday lunch, not very busy...but we were early to beat the crowds. Asked for a discrete table and instantly found us a booth, very nice. Food was lovely, nicely presented and served with a smile. Asked for a second plate, no problem. Staff were accommodating...More
