Amazing starter of garlic squid - superb. Then the pork belly was quite exquisite just so nice and perfect. Followed by lovely knickerbocker glory and a peanut dish ! All brilliant and well presented. Extremely attentive staff but not over the top so well done to all concerned. Would certainly visit again and try the Thai restaurant next time.

After the eye-watering £28 for 2 drinks (Aperol spritz and brandy) for the first round, we stuck to beer and wine for the next round... however, the atmosphere at the Crazy bear bar is good on Saturday evening, and it adds a bit of OTT luxury to the start our evening. Only visit here fore special occasions.

Weird, wacky, decadent, sexy and kinky are all words that could describe The Crazy Bear, and the luxury kitch and clientele of footballers wives might lead you to doubt whether the food might be up to scratch. However, our experience in the English Restaurant was top class! Superb delicious cooking and excellent service. A truly exciting, imaginative and fun dining... More

I went here with my wife for afternoon tea, as she had been given it as a gift. A lot of reviews weren't great so I feared the worst. As it turned out, we had an excellent time. We had booked for 2.30, but had turned up early, so dropped in to see if they would be willing to bring... More

Booked a special set lunch for a Saturday and was really impressed with the service and the quality of the food. Their burger was delicious and came with a portion of perfectly crispy chips and we shared a side of coleslaw. Extensive menu choices and beautiful decor make this a great choice for a weekend lunch date with a friend.... More

Great restaurant. The restaurant looks amazing. Special place to go for something different to boring pubs or traditional restaurants. We found the service very friendly and knowledgable on the menu and cocktails. Food was lovely, had Sunday roast and champagne. 10/10 all round.

Unique and original decor, this place is fun. Went on bank holiday Monday, had the half lobster and steak, all cooked lovely. Sides were extra and tasted fresh. Staff very friendly, if a little sickly. Good bottle of reasonably priced Cote du Rhone. Not too busy.

Called into the crazy bear for coffee and was initially welcomed by a gentleman at reception. Amazing decor very impressive interior spoilt by abrasive unwelcoming hostess in the Moroccan themed room who acted like a dictator in where we could and couldn't sit. There was only 2 tables we were allowed to sit at as there others were for afternoon... More
