The breakfast buffet at Maria de la Luz restaurant is typical of any Mexican hotel. The Pibil was outstanding !

We three middle aged British guys wanted a lunchtime snack, beer and coffee on the square overlooking the cathedral in the heat of the day. There were surprisingly few places that we found. A small cafe was charging a lot for beers (50) considering it was very basic although had a table and two chairs on the pavement. He must... More

Located in the hotel, this restaurant provided us with excellent service at a reasonable cost and food that we enjoyed. The buffet breakfast is very good. There is a wide variety of choices and eggs are prepared to order. We had drinks and very tasty botanos twice and dinner once. we were happy with the food and the service was... More

We had the breakfast buffet and recommend. Authentic classic Mexican breakfast/lunch/meal selection from beans, tamales, chilaquiles, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, eggs, sausage...could go on and on! Everything was delicious and the service wonderful!

Good price for our budget (we are American so it was less than $8) Great food selection including fruit, custom palettes, and lots of traditional fare.

Location! In the main square, close to ADO bus station. Everything worked correctly. Very old rooms.

The hotel is only a few short blocks from the bus station and directly across the zocalo, a half block away from the cathedral of San Gervacio, and few blocks away from Cenote Zaci. The hotel itself is built around a central courtyard with a pool next to the large dining are. The hotel's restaurant serves excellent food and a... More

It had been some years since I had visited this hotel restaurant but decided to give it a try after first trying the nearby , highly rated hotel restaurant but being overwhelmed by the tour buses unloading there. Not a bad choice. They have a menu but I opted for what everyone else seemed to be doing and chose the... More
