I am a HUGE fan, it had been a long time since my last visit, and although I remember I was not impressed with the food the first time, I was disappointed this time for sure! So here is the thing, order simple! Stay with a thin steak, beans, rice, you can never go wrong with guacamole and then you... More

Climbed the pyramids, then stopped for lunch. The coolest restaurant I have ever seen. Food was fair, but we all enjoyed the experience. It is by far the best option in the park. It's worth the drive for México City to see the pyramids and to enjoy this restaurant.

We had to see the restaurant in the cave. After climbing the Pyramid of the sun we exited the gate behind the Pyramid and walked to the restaurant La Gruta... We were not disappointed. Good food and great service and being under ground it was really cool.

I have been to the ruins many ties but never stayed to heat here. This time we did. It was a great location, fun to be in giant cave. Have done that before a few times, but first time here. The food was alright and the service a bit sluggish, but we made fun for ourselves. Go for the experience,... More

After finishing lunch at La Gruta, the 7 of us all decided that the ambiance of the restaurant far exceeded the food, and for that, it may still be worth a visit. The food and drink is priced a bit high for what we received. We did try some traditional items which were OK. For the price, they were not... More

Located a short walk from the pyramid of the sun, this beautiful restaurant is located in an underground lava tube giving it an other-worldly character. Good real Mexican food at good prices and the service is also excellent. It is a must visit at teotihuacan. I feel sorry for those people on tour busses or organized tours who miss this... More

After spending the day at the pyramids in Teotihuacán, which is a must when visiting Mexico City, we found an amazing and beautiful restaurant in one of the grottos. Food is delicious, but the whole environment makes it a sublime experience!

The setting is extraordinary. We were there for family lunch after climbing the pyramid. We all love this restaurant at first. But what we didn't like about is, they are not flexible at all. And the service is not as good as we expected. For example, we wanted to have avocado for our tacos. They said they couldn't because there... More

This restaurant is inside an old cave. The décor is magnificent. The restaurant is about 100 ft. underground. The food is traditional Mexican cuisine and therefore extremely good. Do not expect to find any of the food that you find in Mexican restaurants in the USA. The variety is excellent and my favorite dish are escamoles. These are ant eggs... More
