Upper Canada Village was great -- it was a pleasant evening walking around and enjoying the lights. The dinner we'd booked at Willard's Hotel was entirely unfitting. What a great experience! Our server was fun and informed, and we loved our seating on the front porch. The food was divine and fairly priced. Go for the pie!!

Had lunch at Willard's Hotel with a good friend. We ordered the smoked chicken sandwich and the beef stew. The food was quite tasty--very close to homemade. The service, on the other hand, was less than ideal. The woman who served us appeared distressed despite there being very few guests at the time. Acquiring and paying the bill proved to... More

We went to Willard’s Hotel during the Alight At Night festival. With advance reservations, we were seated with only a minimal wait. We enjoyed the ambience of this 1850’s hotel setting. The food was just Ok – kind of what you’d expect for cafeteria fare, not quality dining. We had the roast turkey. The portions were generous. Everything was slathered... More

Bread made at the village topped off the main meal. Soup and dessert options were also available. My husband enjoyed his pea soup and desserts were certainly... More
