We got a gift certificate from an event for Cibo and was happy that the new owners honoured the certificate. We noticed that the new menu was half Italian and half Asian now - but we were craving Italian food. We ordered 2 osso buco...meals - one with gnocchi and one with vegetables and the other meal was the veal. I have to say, the tomato sauce for both the pasta and the osso buco was tasty as was the sauce on the veal. However, the gnocchi were very overcooked and the vegetables were so overcooked they were mush. The veal looked more like ground beef, it was so overcooked. None of us could finish our meals and it was a great disappointment. Once they figure out cooking times, the food should be much better.More

It was a great dinner with my family at Cibo during the Thanksgiving Weekend. The chef’s special orders were amazing. Hopefully, we will have a chance to come back soon.

It is amazing idea to combine Western and Asian dishes. Our family and I can try different cultural cuisines within once visit. The food was great!

We had a family party of Ten Adults for dinner. We had one server and he didn't seem to remember who ordered what and when he brought the food we had to say who it belongs to. One lady didn't get her appetizer and the...server gave a few of us our main dish and realized this women didn't have her appetizer and brought it to her. She asked to box it so she could eat her meal with everyone else. He just couldn't keep up to serving that many people. Not impressed.More

Could have cooked a better meal on top of my car engine. Where are the standards? We ordered 4 apps to share as the server mentioned they were out of quite a few items on the dinner menu. Let’s start with the charcuterie board that...the menu boasts as a selection of cured meats, cheeses and vegetables- the prosciutto was old and dried out, had the smell of cold cuts that have been in your fridge a week too long- it came with a few slices of salami, extremely stale bread, jarred candy pickles, and cheap marble cheese. Not exactly the assortment you would expect. Next up- the Caprese Salad- nearly rotten tomatoes. Next up- the Shrimp puttanesca- FOUR shrimp for $16 in what tasted like a jar of heated up old El Paso salsa, with some soggy bread thrown on top. Lastly, the fried calamari that smelt rancid. This place DOES NOT CARE, has zero standards, over charges for poorly put together, thoughtless, near expired/expired food. The tables outdoors were filthy, the building in such a dilapidated state of disrepair. Moving inside, someone’s office is wide open at the front door with papers scattered, an empty dessert cooler as well. Proving they have just so obviously given up. $116 later a lesson hard learned. We will NEVER return. I’m expecting to be sick later from the few bites I did take. Dine at Cibos at your own risk, and if you feel like wasting your hard earned money, burn it instead.More

Stopped by the other day for lunch on the patio. Beautiful patio, I'd say the best in grimsby! Service was very quick, I was very impressed with our server. Ordered the veil parm, very tender and delicious! I'll be coming back for sure.

I came here with my family a couple of days ago, I got the gnocchi primavera and the fresh vegetables were just to die for. My husband got the seafood linguini and he loved it. My son got the salmon and had only good things...to say about it. The patio is beautiful and the live music is so good! Such a great atmosphere for dinner, will definitely be coming back!More
