My various trips to this delightful establishment is always very enjoyable. The sweet aroma that greets you as you enter this wonderful place, takes you right back to your mothers kitchen of days gone by, The lovely crafts and homemade quilts and various other homemade clothing, crafts, etc. are a welcome adddition to our visits.

A decent place to stop for some food for the road. In addition to prepared foods they have lots of local products, like jams and honeys. Not really a place to eat, as I don't think that they have an eating area, but a quick and interesting stop.

Farmer's Daughter is a lovely spot for locals and tourists alike. Very cute 'local country community' feel. I would highly recommend an ice cream stop and a walk around the gift store.

This restaurant is in a bigger store that has a bakery, and Christmas store and knickknack store. Great for tourists. The restaurant part is you order and then find a seat after picking up your food. Nice place to visit.

Heading to Lunenburg, NS from Baddeck, NS, we stopped at the Farmers Daughter for a quick breakfast. We had breakfast bagels and picked up some yummy oat cakes. The coffee was really good too. Friendly service and a neat little gift shop attached.

We purchased our dinner here to take to our rental house in Neil's Harbour, as we were driving North on the Cabot Trail. We bought frozen seafood chowder and fresh pizza rolls, mine was spinach and feta, and hubby's was sausage, chipotle, bar-b-q sauce. The seafood chowder we enjoyed and it had a nice flavor. We couldn't tell how much... More

Cranberry with white chocolate pieces. These cookies are huge and very tasty. I so wish we had tried one on our trip and not waited till we arrived back home; would have bought more. Lovely spot to stop and stretch your legs, wander around and see all they have to offer. Quite a large store selling everything from cookies to... More

It was a Pleasant place to stop over as we drove from Antigonish..! A coffee with the cookies was excellent...! We were so touched to see real farm fresh produce and how this store continues to connects with farmers around. Really good place to sit and have a chat or just watch the traffic on highway.
