Visited the Chowder house this weekend. Very quiet post lunch hour. We enjoyed the fresh homemade chowder, generou portion, excellent flavor with a good assortment of fresh fish in cream base. Service was friendly and prompt recommend highly

Only good things to say about this place. They got our (slightly complicated) order perfect and in great time. The food was unbelievable. I ordered the seafood chowder. It was the best I have ever tasted. If you like pub style appetizers, the poblano peppers...More

We waited over 45 minutes for 2 soups and a chowder. At first we tried to make jokes about it (were they growing the onions?). Eventually it wasn't funny anymore. Others came in, ordered, ate, and left before we were served. I would MUCH rather...More

Small restaurant with friendly service. We both had different chowders that were great. We split a lobster sandwich on a bun that had huge pieces of fresh lobster. The desserts were home made. A great place to have lunch.

Grilled cheese sandwich was not made from "real" cheese. Corn chowder bowl plentiful but lacked flavor. Great Service, pleasant staff. Central location, parking in behind building in (free) public parking lot.

A good country breakfast for only 7.99 + tax. Friendly wait staff and county/cottage feel. Notice they had some baked goods too.
