The chef prepares a daily menu of local fresh food with many unusual choices. The deserts he prepares are delicious and his seafood chowder some of the best I've tasted. There is inside and outside dining and live music on some nights outside. A plus is reservations are accepted in this small, touristy community.

Wake up! An ongoing practice of not accepting credit cards has soured my support of a local restaurant. The food is good but to expect patrons to carry cash of over a hundred dollars for an evening meal and then be directed down the street to a bank machine is an insult.

It was disappointing to drive 40 minutes and discover they accept cash (not debit, but dollar bills) only.

I love this little place; it was the third dinner in town, and by far the best. As an appetizer, the bread sticks in a small fondue were brilliant; the main courses were perfectly cooked, imaginative and served well. The menu is reasonably priced, offers a fine variety and the service is exemplary. I loved it!

Food excellent, service pleasant, but very slow. Friday nights are grill nights so meet is smoked and grilled. Excellent ambiance and live music.

The review title tells the story....the split pea soup was the lunch special. It is more like a stew. Rich and Chunky. Wonderful. My sister had the watermelon salad which she described as very good as well. We were surprised by how long it took to get our meals given the simplicity of what we ordered and the fact that... More

Perfect little restaurant with excellent seafood options. The scallops, haddock and shrimp risotto were incredible. Save room for dessert. Reasonable prices and excellent service. The cheesecake is out of this world, not a typical cheesecake but one that will make you like the plate.

Food and service excellent. We ate for $55 per person all in with dessert and one person had wine. Nice old cozy building.
