Excellent value for wonderful food. Opt for the seafood, particularly the seafood pasta with lobster. Even non-seafood items are very good as well (e.g. chicken parm). Large portions and great value. Friendly service.

This restaurant is an excellent spot for fresh local seafood. Sometimes they have fresh Dingwall shark on the menu. I alway enjoy the tri-colour Rotini alla Vodka. It is one of their signature dishes. The fresh baked pies and breads from the bakery are also not to be missed. I always buy a pie to take home with me!

My wife and I tour a children's show to schools and visit maritime Canada every few years. Over the past year, we've had the fortune of touring Cape Breton twice. The first time, hunger and few choices drove us to Main Street restaurant in Ingonish. We had lobster and fish of the day. Both were excellently cooked with fitting sides... More

This little gem in Cape Breton is a "must stop" if you are traveling in this beautiful area. Not only do they have wonderful homemade pastries and pies (I got a slice of the wild blueberry pie, which was to die for!), but also feature the best seafood meal I've ever eaten. I'm a seafood "nut", so this is high... More

I am not a "foodie", but for the first time in my life, I wish I had taken a picture of this meal. Picture a large plate with angel hair pasta centered and covered with a perfectly cooked 1/2 Lobster. The Lobster body is filled with a marinera sauce comprised of numerous islands of scallops and shrimp. Surrounding the Lobster... More

This restaurant was recommended by our resort. We arrived close to closing time but were warmly greeted and never felt rushed. Fantastic seafood dish with pasta, we would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Very reasonably priced. Come hungry for large portions.

We enjoyed this place for really fresh seafood and lots of choice. Ask about the catch of the day because it really is. Check out the bakery counter for dessert.

Our hotelier recommended this restaurant and we couldn't have been happier. It's nothing fancy inside or out, but our meal was memorable. Steamed snow crab fresh from Bay St. Lawrence, done to perfection and served with drawn butter and a large spinach salad. My wife was in heaven. I opted for the baked halibut in a light pernod cream sauce... More
