This is a great seafood restaurant. The chowder and lobster rolls were the best we had in New Brunswick! Staff were super friendly and very efficient. Great place to stop for lunch or dinner!!

Dropped in late afternoon. Place wasn't very busy, so service was quick and efficient. Staff was very friendly. Waitress recommended the seafood chowder. She was right. It was terrific! Pleasant place to have a nice meal.

We enjoyed our visit to Alma. Dining at the Alma Boathouse was so good! Husband had to have fresh lobster..while I enjoyed the lobster rolls. Bit costly..but worth each bite.

Okay restaurant for people who like seafood. A very bad option for people with seafood allergies or for vegetarians. There's virtually nothing on the menu that can be guaranteed to be fully vegetarian.

Went twice we enjoyed it so much and found it reasonably priced. Really liked the fish and chips, chicken fingers and fries (big Kids portions and great price). The next day tried the seafood chowder, really good! Service was great. So comfortable and unrushed .

Alma is a tiny but charming fishing village. The Boathouse is where the locals eat. Food is fairly standand but good and filling.

Had our first lobster dinner in New Brunswick here, and although it was good, it wasn't spectacular. Wait staff was pleasant, very talkative. Ordered the carrot cake for dessert, which was quite dry, obviously a few days old. The place is clean and family friendly, but wouldn't go out of my way to stop again.

The seafood was definitely good with home-cut fries and coleslaw and a good portion size for the price. Service was fast too... You expect good seafood when you dine in a fishing/tourism destination like Alma and we weren't disappointed!

Seafood chowder was really nice but I wasn't very impressed with the fish and chips. I would go back and try other items on the menu.

It was pouring with rain when we arrived in Alma, after having set up our tents in a near by campground, all we wanted was some nice home comforts and that's exactly what we got at the Boathouse. We were immediately greeted by the nicest, warmest smile from the waitress. Just what we needed to lift our spirits. The food... More
