The weather was beautiful and we thought we would head up to Gimli for the day. We had lunch at Kris's Fish and Chips. I had the pickerels with French fries. The portion sizes were great and the food was fantastic. The service was very quick. I can't wait for our next visit.

I go here a couple of times a year with out of town friends and enjoy the fish and chips very much. The cashier is the waiter or waitress each time I have there. Nice clean atmosphere.

I'm not a fish eater, but my friend is and she wanted some pickerel. I wanted some chips, so it worked out well. I ordered the chicken fingers and fries. The chicken fingers are your standard breaded chicken fingers, likely from frozen, but $10 it was a large serving (4 or 5 large pieces) and a heaping of great home... More

The whole family, three year old and all, enjoyed their lunch here. The batter was light and crisp and the fish was beautiful, especially the pickerel cheeks which are a must-try! The prices weren't unreasonable, but a little on the pricey side. Still, the quality of food was wealth worth the extra bit of cash! With a patio, outside and... More

This restaurant is more of a fast food restaurant that is very informal. That fish we ordered was pan-fried and came with a large serving of fries. When the Tarter sauce was smeared onto the fish it made for a yummy meal. With 2 glasses of wine and tip the meal cost just under $50 for 2 people.

After finding the new Alycia's closed we had to find another alternative and were pleased with the lunch at Kris' with a chicken gyro and fries. The servings are generous and food is tasty. We thought we might have the lemonade but 32 ounces seems a bit much for my liking. Looking forward to returning.
