A good but simple place to eat. Good food and good service and the prices are reasonable. A good variety of menu choices

The lady was so cheerful. She seemed to be a one woman show, greeting everyone, seating, taking orders and money. Nice breakfast for $6.95 when our hotel wanted $13 for the same thing.

If you are looking for basic breakfast (eggs, toast, hash browns, coffee) then this could be the place. Vinyl chairs, older tables, mismatched sets but you are here for breakfast. the washroom was clean as I checked it out.

Found this place while walking around Sechelt and needed a place for lunch. The food was good (not great, but not bad either) and cheap (cheaper than I've seen in years). We had the clubhouse, chicken salad sandwich and a chicken burger, all with fries. The portions weren't huge but it was all you really needed. However the restaurant is... More

Had breakfast - simple greasy spoon type eggs 'n hash browns, which was quite good. What is off-putting is the terrible decor of torn seats, marred table tops and dirty carpet. A lick of paint, done properly would even help. It looks like nothing has been updated for 30+ years. The worst is sitting by the window and seeing the pigeons... More

I questioned the owner regarding the special which was a whopping 30 cents below the regular price! She was rather rude in her response so we got up and left. This restaurant could definitely use some remodeling as it is rather run down. On previous visits we found that the food is reasonably priced and well prepared and service was... More

Had a cheeseburger and fries with gravy - ate the whole thing, it was delicious. This is a cheaper restaurant with plain old fashioned food. Npt much ambiance, needs updating in the décor department but it is a local favorite for coffee.and is reasonable pricing.

We came here for breakfast and it was an old fashioned family restaurant, time stood still in the 60's. Don't let the decor fool you. Breakfast was good! But they seriously need to work on redoing the bathroom, it very dirty. It really is like a truckers stop style restaurant, nothing fancy. Prices was good and service as well.

A place where locals go to meet and eat. Excellent value, decor may be lacking but it's a great, local hub with good food and wonderful staff. Carmen, the owner is the hardest working person I ever met.

The Village Restaurant serves the best, basic breakfasts and lunches in town at the best prices. It's not fancy, but the food is always good and the service prompt. One prime recommendations is that locals eat here, meet friends, and have a good time. If you want to learn about the community, this is a fine place to do it.... More
