Tried out the refurbished Daphne restaurant. New decor, new seating, slightly different menu. We were delighted with it all. The sangria is the same deliciousness as Shift restaurant. For dinner I had the appetizer falafel & appetizer Greek salad. Yummy and filling. Especially loved the big piece of feta on the salad that I was able to break up. My... More

The place has been renovated and is a lot better with a new menu, bar area, kitchen and staff! We had prawns in garlic, Lamb sirloin skewer with rice, potato & Greek salad, Octopus, Mussels with sausage and tomato sauce and finished with Baklava and vanilla bean ice cream and Pistaccio macaroons and raspberry sorbet. Our server Codi our server... More

Went there to celebrate a friends birthday and was disappointed in the service and the food was not great. The previous owners had great food. This is expensive for how poor quality the food is.

The restaurant was recommended to us by family who have lived locally for generations. It did not disappoint. The restaurant is bright and airy. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. A very enjoyable experience.

Delicious food served in a timely pleasant manner. This is a family restaurant offering a wide variety of options. If unsure of what to choose, I recommend the Greek taster platter - it provides a sampling of many of the Greek dishes offered on the menu

Daphne's just re-opened after a 6 moth (or more?) closure to renovate. The new front of house is improved - broken up into cosy areas with a fresh, clean look. The menu is classic Greek restaurant - lamb, moussaka, Greek Salads, kebabs, etc. I ordered the calamari platter on our visit this week and it was OK. Just not as... More

Major renovation and new menu is the name of the game for Daphne's. Visited on a Friday, the second day since they re-opened, and wow were they ever busy. They are currently only taking reservations for parties of six or more, and we sat at the bar waiting our turn for a table. Decor is an understated grey which could... More

Daphne's is undergoing a complete refit. Looking forward to when it reopens as it was always good in the past.

Daphne Restaurant has a cool atmosphere and the food isn't bad but I have only been there once and probably wouldn't rush back.

Before this recent closure, which rumours say is just a renovation, this was a regular for us. The food was decent for the price and this little town. IT went through a number of owners/managers over the years so maybe this recent closure is going to be a re-invention. The space is open and bright and high-profile so somebody should... More
