I like their coffee better than any chain coffee joint.... Fun, cozy atmosphere. High priced.... But good for coffee dates and lunch meetings.

This shop is in an old bank downtown and was pretty busy when I stopped. It's one of those places where you kind of have to stop and figure out how it works if you're not familiar. Some larger shops do a great job of welcoming and being friendly, I can't say this one does.
It was fairly empty when we arrived. Service was acceptable - not particularly friendly nor inviting. Coffee was passable - served in a paper cup even though I was going to be staying to drink it. I ordered a cup of soup and it was the WORST. It was gelatinous, tasteless, and burned.

Not smiling or friendly in any way, they acted as though our decision to order coffee and lunch was getting in their way of something else they... More
Stopped in for breakfast. Only choice with eggs were 2 wraps. I chose the 6.99 quesadilla. It had a lot of black beans and cheese, a small amount of one egg. It tasted like beans between bread. We always try to stop at a local coffee shop when we are traveling through a city. Babb's Coffee is in the downtown and in an old bank building. Friendly. Locals in visiting and having casual meetings. Great place!
Nice quiet relaxing atmosphere with a selection of board games to play and free Wi-Fi. My daughter and I personally enjoy old school battleship. The food is a bit expensive but we'll worth it. I'd highly recommend trying a strawberry smoothie with whip cream on it.
We stayed a might at the hotel right down the street. I'm not one for hotel coffee so I Google coffee in Jamestown and found Babbs a short walk from the hotel in downtown Jamestown. I'm glad we found it what a quaint quirky place. Wixh we had more time to spend sitting in and enjoying our coffee! Much better... More
