Don't go out of your way to get this.. Only really good when you are coming home from the bars downtown or if you are a freshman and want to feel cool.

The menu is limited but it's good, made fast and the history in the building is great. You have to try an infamous grinder with taco meat. If you like it hot, add the white sauce. It's not an upscale place, but good, cheap food and fun to be ther.

Some of the most unfriendly service I have ever received. The staff acted bothered to take our order. All of the tables were dirty and we had to ask for a rag to clean the table ourselves. They obliged with a dirty rag from the kitchen. The food wasn't good either. I have made better tacos out of a Taco... More

Bland taco meat, tasteless white sauce.....not a fan, but I'm also not a native Grand Forks/North Dakotan who seem to love this place

As usual, Kevin, Erin, and the kids decided to eat at the Pepper. Summer get-together. My half grinder of turkey and taco meat was perfect! Wynn actually tried her hot ham'n'cheese before giving the rest to her mom. As usual, the Red Pepper staff did an their usual best.

A must stop when in Grand Forks. Great grinders, tacos, and order the "garbage plate" not on the menu. A long history of UND and HS sports support. A great hang out for adolescents and college age and adults coming back to visit.

Ahh... the Garbage Plate! After many years of being an off-menu item, we've finally made it a full fledged menu item, along with Taco Salads & Grinder Salads. Thank you for taking the time to write such a solid review! We'll see you next time around! More

I don't make it to the Red Pepper very often, so when I do, it is a real treat. The grinders are awesome, as is everything on their menu. Casual dining on paper plates. Can't be much simpler than that.

Can't remember a stop in Grand Forks and NOT visiting this place. Four locations within the Grand Cities (don't forget the one in The Ralph) and always consistently amazing grinders!! Nothing fancy, just amazing sandwiches, hot sauce and chips!

Is on the top 10 places to eat in Grand Forks, good for a late night snack, a little geasy however the locals love it.

You can call us a lot of things, but greasy isn't one of them. We use the leanest regionally sourced ground beef available and we drain every last drop of grease before seasoning. We appreciate you taking time to write a review, though. And hope to see you next time you're in Grand Forks. More
