The Red Pepper is a Grand Forks staple. It serves Americanized Mexican food. Basic menu. Tacos, grinders, tostatos, etc. Food is always good. It is usually busy, especially on weekends. Fair share of intoxicated customers after bar close. Staff is hit or miss. Usually a...More

I eat here whenever I am in GF. The turkey or ham grinder with meximeat is the only thing to eat, unless you are hungry for a garbage plate or a lettuce salad adorned with hot sauce.

I have eaten at the Red Pepper since I was 16 or so-retired now. Each time I visit Grand Forks, I must have the ham grinder with taco meat. It's delicious. The tacos are good also, but not very meaty anymore. There's just something special...More

My daughter swears by this place. You do have to wait in line most of the time, but the food is very good. The portions are large and the white sauce is great. OK, not a health food spot, but the kids love it after...More

The Red Pepper is easily one of the #1 favorite haunts in Grand Forks ND. All my years of growing up it was a go to place for chow. One of their main-stays is the 'grinder' which is a sub-sandwich featuring 'taco meat' with a...More

You even made us hungry with that superb review, but then you broke our heart with the 3 star rating! We'll blame it on the dream like haze some people fall into after overindulging in the White Sauce. We look forward to seeing you next...More

The locals will tell you....this is a must do when visiting. We went mid afternoon and there was still a steady line. You ask for the grinder with everything on it .. its just the thing to do. It did not disappoint. Very reasonably priced,...More

I visited the Red Pepper for a quick Saturday lunch with the locals. It was well priced and fast. I enjoyed my taco and tostada. Spicy! The sandwiches looked good to. This UND institution also has a stand in the Ralph Englestead Arena on campus.
