Typical hole in the wall, looks like its been here for years. In fact, it has, but do not let that stop you. Yeah it's in the"hood" but everybody knows the best deal for a foot long special is tight here. Maybe you feel like a Bustah Burger, or some pimento cheese on your burger instead. Either way it's worth... More

If you're in the mood for a great hot dog, look no further than Kermits'. It's been there for eons and still offers "curb service" Foot long hot dog specials are the best you'll find and they also serve breakfast. Make sure to leave room for a custum made Sundae or one of the local fried pies!

I love this restaurant! The atmosphere is so laid back and feels like you're taking a step back in time. One of my favorite places in Winston-Salem. Very, very cheap food, great hot dogs. Friendly staff.

Really good Carolina Style Hot Dogs! There are other things on the menu that sounded great but we just had the dogs! Nice and courteous wait staff. Old timey drive-in but has tables on the inside as well. We can't wait to drive back through Winston-Salem so we can stop again!

This was our first trip to Kermit's. We saw it on a previous visit to Winston-Salem so it was on our "to-do" list. I ordered the quarter-pound hot dog with fries and my wife got the foot long. Service was fast, the waitress was excellent, and the food was good. The atmosphere was excellent, the way a 1960s drive-in is... More

You cannot go wrong with Kermit's. Was introduced to Kermit's almost forty years ago by a supervisor at RJR who would treat us to the hot dogs with pimento cheese. They are still my favorites all these years later. Whatever your choice you will enjoy the food.

I am from NC and I love our Carolina style hot dogs more than anything. I love Zack's and Yum-Yums and all the old-school joints in the Triad. Kermit's hot dog was as good as any I've ever had, period. The vintage Drive-in location is 100% America classic. Car -hop's start at 4pm, and don't get chilli on the seats... More

Staff was very pleasant but the hot dogs were meh! Nothing to write home about. The dogs were a bit on the soft side did our liking and the chili was not real flavorful. I'd recommend a pass on this place.

Kermit's was good, but I wouldn't drive as far as I did today to go eat there. I can see that if you lived locally it would be a great place to eat at least once a week. They were very busy so it took us awhile to get waited on. I still think Dari-O hot dogs had them beat.

Old style greasy spoon drive-in with a small dining room area. The hotdogs are great and the service is outstanding. Waitress went above and beyond in making sure that we got my food quickly and refilling our drinks. Even asked if my fries were okay because I had not eaten them all.
